Kevin had always been content with drifting through life aimlessly. For a decade, he hopped from one academic pursuit to another, while his free time was consumed by video games, TV shows, and hanging out with friends. One day he was absent-mindedly scrolling through his social media feed, when an unexpected offer caught his attention—an invitation to embark on a daring mission to save a whole other world. Initially he thought it was some new anime, but that quickly changed as the enchanting image on the post abruptly sprang to life, addressing him directly.
