Bryan removed the attire in the changing room and frowned because the smell of his body was terrible indeed beyond measure, "Thankfully this attire was suppressing the foul odor coming from my body and Celest didn't get to experience it, otherwise she would've probably fainted right there and then!" Which is why he decided to wipe the interior of the special attire as best as he can before spraying it with some fragrant essence which Bryan inwardly celebrated after finding it in one of the cupboards.

  Afterwards he thoroughly cleaned his body because he'd feel bad if Linnet's car had any of this nasty smell on it!

  However, once he left the medical examination room Bryan found three girls and a very exhausted David waiting for him but the problem was the smug smile Riley was giving him which had : "You're in so much trouble!" Written all over her face.

  Celest was clearly eager for what to come and more than interested to see how this frustrated Linnet is going to py this.

  Linnet on the other hand was giving Bryan such a mean expression as if she can't wait to chew him out but for some reason she managed to suppress and contain her emotions.

  *Snort*

  Celest raised an eyebrow while giving the girl standing next to her a fleeting side-gnce.

  Riley was rubbing her palms anticipating quite the dramatic show but much to her disappointment nothing happened which is why she rolled her eyes towards Linnet while giving a loud : "Meh." Then looked towards Bryan and gave him a sneer as if to say : "Lucky bastard! You don't deserve her love and care... not a single bit."

  But this time Bryan decided to fight back which is why he acted like he's going to scratch his hair while giving this ungrateful Riley a taste of her own medicine, a subtle flick of his middle finger which only David and Riley could see.

  'Sick!' David was awed by the smooth dispy of his boss who managed to somehow get scot free from this kind of situation which is clearly a very complex love-triangle yet here he's still bullying the best friend of his girlfriend without care as if he doesn't even worry about getting scathed by the prickly tongue of this feisty chick.

  Riley on the other hand was like a tigress who got her tail stepped on once she saw the obscene gesture from Bryan but before she got open her mouth to say anything he flicked her another gesture of rubbing his thumb and index fingers which is another famous gesture for money.

  Only then did she seem to remember the ease and comfort which she experienced in this fun day could be swept away just as easily by Bryan like a rug getting pulled from below her feet and she'd have to wake up early tomorrow to look for a job to financially support her new business which Riley pnned earlier today with Linnet.

  Just like that all her anger, frustration, and annoyance immediately evaporated and a sunny smile decorated her face as she jumped to hug his arm as if he's long lost big brother!

  David was standing there gawking from shock while feeling scared after seeing how extreme this chick's mood can change on a whim, which is why he decided to forget about ever trying to hit on her again.

  "Come on! Let's go~ I still want to meet Shawn... Say, say... is he really so handsome and cool like you?" Riley asked while dragging Bryan by the arm towards the elevator, of course she didn't forget to include Linnet in her act and dragged her along and when they passed Celest she gave her a mischievous wink.

  David was so intimidated by the btant fakeness of this shameless Riley who was trying so hard to start a conversation between his boss and the boss's girlfriend while intentionally ostracizing the third-wheel of the love-triangle who kept herself calm and cool despite seeming like she's about to start swinging any moment now in this small box of an elevator!

  Which is why David intentionally secluded himself in the farthest corner while doing his best to shrink somehow in that spot and make his body smaller.

  Bryan barely held himself back from strangling this troublemaker but he pnned to teach her a good lesson at the first chance he gets.

  Which is why he decided to give Shawn some advice in private before allowing this dear friend of his to really meet Riley.

  Linnet was still angry at Bryan for ruining her pn of having him for herself tomorrow which is why she was enjoying the chaos riley is causing very, very... very much right now!

  *Ding*

  "I'll go get the car." David actually pulled the miraculous feat of squeezing himself through the elevator door when it seemed like an impossible thing for a big adult like himself to pass through such tight space and was gone once the door fully opened, there was people in the lobby waiting for this elevator to arrive and all of them were staring back in a panic as if they just saw some kind of a ghost.

  "Hey! That's dangerous, cut it out!" Matt shouted.

  Tim shook his head and muttered to himself, "Why's he in such a hurry?" But once his eyes fell on Bryan and the three beautiful girls leaving the elevator he kind of understood the reason why.

  And indeed seconds ter the tires of the Roles-Royce screeched outside with David behind the wheels.

  "I-is that your car?" Celest asked while stopping at the door.

  "No. That's one of Linnet's." Bryan answered while gesturing for her to get in.

  Celest felt her chest warm up once she saw Bryan inviting her to join them despite clearly sensing how electrifying and tense the mood is between her and the owner of this car right now, even from where she stood and being separated from Linnet's line of sight by Bryan... Celest could still feel some sort of supernaturally piercing gaze from within this luxurious vehicle!

  But in the end Celest decided to refuse the invitation by shaking her head yet a pair of hands fell on her shoulders and gently gave her a push which caused Celest to fall towards Bryan who quickly supported her before she lost her bance, then he picked her up as if she's a feather then turned around and Celest got to see who pushed her which turned out to be old man Tim.

  However now she's standing there with the car at her back and the open door blocking one side while Bryan is blocking the other side with his body while having a dangerously wild and amused smile on his face which caused Celest's cheeks to blush after realizing the predicament of her situation, behind her is the territory of her current rival while ahead of her is someone which she knows is impossible to move unless he's willing to give way which he isn't.

  'I stand better chances in trying to move the car itself actually!' Celest thought while gring at Tim then looked at Bryan and pouted, refusing to get in the car still.

  Bryan squinted his eyes after seeing how stubborn Celest can be when she decides to dig her heels and slowly started to move closer towards her while tightening the space between them by hugging the door under his armpit!

  Celest was acting stubborn but the look within her eyes betrayed her and Tim saw it and smiled before turning to walk back inside the building to give this girl the privacy she deserves in this moment.

  Bryan no longer felt like this is a game of who's going to break first and started to lose himself while staring at her beautiful face from up close, the confirmation of his deepest feelings became true when Celest's tension suddenly disappeared and she actually closed her eyes which fluttered to betray how nervous she really was at that moment.

  Of course his natural reaction to this situation was to go for the lips.

  "Oh my god!" David was of course watching everything in the mirror on his side and couldn't help but utter that out loud while feeling like his worldview just expanded by a few million miles!

  "Get your fat ass inside already!" Linnet's intuition screamed danger at her after hearing David's reaction both of her hands tched into Celest's waist and forcefully pulled with all her power.

  "Whoa!" Celest barely felt the fleeting touch of Bryan's lips on hers before her center of gravity was snatched away by Linnet's sneak attack and a split-second ter she felt her butt nd on the back seat below her, in a moment of panic she pulled her legs inside the car reflexively while trying to act normally as if nothing happened just now between her and Bryan.

  Celest was unable to gather her courage to look up toward Bryan because she was embarrassed after showing such an obvious sign of vulnerability towards him in the presence of Linnet who's sitting right next to her.

  Thankfully for her Bryan closed the door without saying anything and she appreciated him more for it, but her eyes kept stealing gnces towards him once he sat in front next to David.

  Only then did Celest realize who ruined their special moment in the first pce and gred daggers at the driver's back!

  'Me and my big mouth! Now the second missus hates my guts too... fuck.' David thought while trying his best to ignore the mental pressure he's under by concentrating on the road instead.

  Linnet noticed Celest's weird behavior but she was more focused on being angry at Bryan instead.

  *Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

  Bryan gave David the address of the store Shawn works the night shift at then picked up his phone to check who's calling.

  "Big sister Elena. To whom do I owe the pleasure of receiving a call from you so te at night? I hope whatever it's, it won't get me in so much trouble." Bryan joked and teased the Vice-Director.

  Unaware that David next to him was looking at Bryan as if he's some sort of impeccable deity!

  Meanwhile behind him three pairs of ears perked up like a pack of wolves hearing a call for a reconnaissance mission.

  Maybe for the first time ever, Celest and Linnet exchanged a gnce then a nod to confirm a truce and ceasefire agreement until the identity and current affiliation of this anonymous big sister Elena is confirmed as non-lethal or toxic to their retionship with Bryan.
