"You're already in so much trouble! So why would you care if you're in it much deeper than you already are?" Elena's sweet voice answered him with a hint of tease before giggling to herself.

  Bryan smiled because his retionship with this big sister looks to be much closer now compared to earlier today when she called him and he had Elena take care of a few transactions which she ended up handling them perfectly, "Alright then, I'm going to rely on big sister in the future so there's no need for me to worry about a thing with you having my back." He said while gesturing for David to focus on the road since he's been distracted for a while now by looking at him instead.

  His eyes happened to catch a gnce on the back seat of the car then and Bryan noticed how Celest and Linnet were being sneaky and leaning forward to listen to his conversation with Elena!

  Immediately he put the call on speaker mode and left the phone on his thigh but the first sound coming from it was Elena saying : "Aren't you worried about handing me your back? I might just give it a few spanks since you've been keeping your big sister in the dark!"

  Riley giggled from amusement but she quickly realized her mistake when both Celest and Linnet gred at her fiercely which caused her to reflexively shut her mouth however, the damage was already done and the flow of the conversation was clearly interrupted much to Celest and Linnet's frustration when Elena realized that someone heard what she just said which caused her to ask : "Who's that?" Clearly curious.

  "I'm sorry big sister Elena, I was just fresh out of the gym and was too tired to hold the phone so I had you on speaker while taking the ride back home." Bryan said before adding : "That would be Riley, my girlfriend's best friend and there's also Celest in the car with us who's my... girlfriend as well." He intentionally paused before making that decration and looked Celest in the eyes while saying it.

  *Whistle*

  Elena whistled dramatically before giggling then saying : "I see that my little brother is in too much trouble already, want me to help smoothen things between that Celest girl and your other girlfriend before she knows that you're pying a dangerous game behind her back?"

  Bryan shifted his line of sight from Celest towards Linnet, "Linnet is already with us in the car and sitting right next to Celest so... if you want to say anything to her just go ahead and say it."

  "Oh my god... you're either very, very, very... stupid or you're very, very, very... confident." Elena said which made David unconsciously nod while stealing a side-gnce to check his boss's reaction.

  "Big sister Elena just told me to stop caring since I'm already in so much trouble! I believe I should I listen to your advice so... come hell or high tide I'm just going to follow my heart and keep pushing forward against all odds, I like them both and I'm pnning on keeping them both even if it means having too much trouble. I'm still going to look for a way to make things work between us." Bryan said while alternating between looking at Celest and Linnet.

  Next to him David gave him another look full of admiration while thinking : 'So smooth!'

  Celest and Linnet both reacted the same way after hearing what he said, for a few seconds they were in a daze unable to find the right words to say.

  *Humph* *Snort*

  Then both of them crossed their arms on top of their chests and looked away, it happened that they looked towards one another and their eyes met which caused the tension between them to rise when a few sparks happened in the air!

  Quickly Celest and Linnet shifted their heads to look away from one another and Bryan.

  "Hahaha..." Elena ughed once she heard their reaction, "I guess both of them don't agree to share you as the ultimate prize like I expected, so... don't mind me if I snatch you for myself then."

  "You dare!"

  "Keep dreaming!"

  Celest and Linnet gred at the phone after snapping with there ferocious answers.

  "Does that mean my little brother stands no chance?" Elena asked, "You two are not willing to share him between you, yet you're also not willing to let him belong to others as well. Isn't that btant bullying?" She asked again.

  David nodded once again but once he looked in the rear mirror his eyes met two pairs of bloodshot eyes which frightened so much that he didn't dare take his eyes from the road anymore.

  Linnet grinded her teeth before shouting : "What does that has to do with you? Who are you to question what I want to do with my boyfriend?"

  "Didn't you just hear Bryan call me big sister? Isn't it my obligation to protect and take care of my little brother? You call him my "Boyfriend" yet you refuse to let go of him when he's being completely honest with you two, am I to sit here and watch you two mistreat him however you want? Others might think you two are just looking to take advantage of his kindness but I wont so... you better give yourselves some time to talk things between you before you make up your mind." Elena said calmly.

  "You keep calling yourself his big sister but Bryan was an orphan!" Linnet said without thinking but once she realized that she spoke without thinking her eyes immediately looked towards Bryan with worry all over her expression.

  Bryan wasn't looking towards her and the expression on his face cked any signs for her to read, Elena didn't reply and Celest was being quiet.

  The silence in the car was stifling and Linnet felt like her chest is being crushed by the pressure until Bryan opened his mouth to break it by saying : "Alright big sister Elena, stop teasing my girls or you're going to be the one in too much trouble once we meet." Afterwards he gestured with his hand towards the store which Shawn should be starting his shift right now and added : "That's the one David, park the car at the entrance."

  Elena giggled before saying : "You did good standing up for your women like a real man should little brother but, remember to never do so when us dies are having a conversation in the future because your big sister can hold her own just fine."

  '"Got it. Now let's get back to what you really had on mind when you called, you want me to shed some light on some dark areas and blind spots I believe... am I right?" Bryan asked.

  "Exactly. But first tell me who's David?" Elena asked purely out of curiosity.

  "I'm boss's driver Ma'am." David answered.

  "Hoh~... Little bro has his own driver now! What car are you driving for him?" Elena asked while intentionally keeping the girls in suspense about what kind of request she wants from Bryan in the first pce.

  "This one isn't really the boss's car Ma'am, and I'm not the only driver working for him... just the first." David answered this time once he received a nod from Bryan to go ahead.

  Elena was shocked after realizing that Bryan might've really spent all the money which she just earned for him today, "Tell me... Everything!" She said before adding : "And you Bryan, you and I are going to have a good long talk ter."

  Bryan smiled then handed David his phone while saying : "Alright big sister, I'm going to take the dies to the store to meet a good friend of mine... you and David go ahead and talk until I'm back." Afterwards he opened his door and got out then went towards Shawn who was staring at this luxurious car ever since it stopped in front of the store.

  Shawn couldn't believe it once he saw this fellow who lives on the other side of the street to be the one coming out of this car.

  "Hello Shawn." Bryan greeted him before looking back and gesturing for Riley to come and she really did open her door to get out before dragging Linnet to come with her by the arm.

  Celest on the other hand decided to stay in the car because she wants to listen to what David has to say to Bryan's big sister.

  "Welcome." Shawn said but he couldn't help but give the two beautiful girls who got out from the car a longer look, they were perfectly dressed in fashionable style which suits their looks and their hairstyle was complementing their looks.

  "So. We've never truly familiarized with one another despite me being one of the rare loyal customers of this store, hi I'm Bryan." Bryan extended his arm towards Shawn for a handshake.

  "I'm Shawn but you know that already, very nice car by the way." Shawn said while looking at the Rolls-Royce which he already knows that there's another beauty sitting in its back seat but now he can't see her because of the reflective dark gss.

  Bryan leaned on the counter zily, "That one isn't mine, belongs to my girl over there."

  Shawn nodded and refrained from saying which one is Bryan's girl of these two because all three of them might be his!

  "I know this is going to sound strange and sudden but I want to ask a favor from you Shawn." Bryan said while looking him in the eyes.

  Shawn stared at him in a loss for a few seconds before sighing, "If it's something I can help you with then I'd do it but there's a limit to what I can do here, you're not the only one who's having difficulties in this neighborhood... all of us are."

  Bryan smiled because Shawn's answer almost matched the one he gave him in a different scenario where Bryan was panting like a dog after spending a long day visiting companies in different parts of the city to do interviews, Shawn helped him that time and the only reason Bryan could get up the next day to keep looking for work was the bit of food her had on his belly the night before that!

  Bryan smiled then waved Shawn's worries away with a simple gesture of his hand, "You misunderstood me there Shawn, you see that girl in the cyan skirt... that's Riley my girlfriend's bestfriend."

  Shawn nodded, "I know her, she works with your girlfriend in the diner in the next block."

  "They no longer work there now but that's not what I'm here for." Bryan said before adding : "You see Shawn, once Riley knew that I'm taking Linnet on a date tomorrow she insisted on coming along and that's when Linnet asked me to bring a friend so... I'm recommending you to join us on this double date."

  Shawn gawked before gncing towards this beauty in disbelief but quickly afterwards he was pulled back to the harsh reality after remembering his responsibilities towards his family and the financial issues of joining them.

  Bryan of course noticed the signs of struggle on Shawn's face and opened his mouth to say : "I promise that you wouldn't have to pay anything at all, join us and have dinner in a fancy restaurant first and you can always leave before your shift starts if Riley's company isn't up to your standards but, if you like her then you're welcome to join us in having some fun in a five-star hotel... Linnet already booked us two suites."

  "I-I..." Shawn was hesitating because honestly he thought Bryan was pranking him.

  "You have my word that if you find Riley's company not to your liking then you can leave after giving me this hand sign and I'll compensate you by taking care of financing your dream project, but if you're fine with Riley then I'd give you clear instructions on how to find success in your project on your own... of course I'd be happy to assist you whenever you need my help to grow your establishment." Bryan said while smiling such a sly smile after seeing the shocked expression on Shawn's face.

  Shawn finally opened his mouth to say after taking a deep breath to calm himself : "H-How did you kn-"

  "Hello~" I'd like to purchase these.

  Riley put a basket full of different snacks and other products she put in a hurry after getting impatient with Bryan taking too long talking with this handsome fellow, her actions interrupted Shawn who gave Bryan a wary look as if saying : "This isn't over." before nodding towards Riley and giving her a professional smile which charmed her swooning heart.

  "Hello Ms. Riley. Excited for tomorrow?" Shawn said while packaging everything after binging them in under the green light of the machine.

  Riley blushed slightly and started tapping the floor with her feet, "So... you're coming with us right!"

  "Only if you behave yourself." Bryan teased while jumping behind Linnet which helped in avoiding getting his toes stomped on by Riley.

  Linnet on the other hand was amused by their interaction until her waist was hugged by a pair of strong arms which pulled her back until she felt the warmth of Bryan's body on her own, she wanted to struggle and free herself because Linnet is still angry at him but she couldn't.

  Bryan leaned and whispered next to her ear : "You're always going to be my special one, you know that right?"

  It was then that Linnet felt like all her strength and power simply left her and she surrendered herself to his tight embrace under the watching eyes of the amused Shawn and the annoyed Riley who clearly doesn't want the chaos to end.

  But once Bryan picked Linnet like a princess and walked towards the exit he stopped after hearing : "Hey! Where do you think you're going?" From Riley.

  "The car! We still need to drive Celest back to her home, you two go ahead and have fun getting to know one another while we're away." Bryan said while turning to leave.

  "But who's going to pay for all that stuff?" Riley asked while gesturing towards two full bags waiting for the payment to be completed.

  *Snort*

  Bryan stopped and looked back then gave Riley an annoying smile before saying : "Why should I care? I already have my prize here in my hands!" Then opened the back door and jumped in the car before quickly closing it while saying : "Drive David." And the Rolls-Royce left just like that.

  Poor Riley stood there feeling empty inside and at a loss for words to expin her feelings of betrayal since her bestfriend didn't say a word and stayed there as meek as a helpless rabbit from beginning to end.
