"Linnet. Do you think you're going to be good on your own for a while?" Celest asked.

  "Uh... I guess," Linnet didn't seem confident enough saying that but immediately afterwards her eyes shined, "Riley is here, don't worry I'm going to be fine. Go check on him, I know you're very anxious to do that... but don't you dare try and do anything funny behind my back." After teasing Celest she added while giving her a stern look : "I mean it! You're free to py it however you like with Bryan after tomorrow."

  Celest raised an eyebrow and leaned forward while asking : "Why?" She was studying every minute expression on Linnet's pretty face with her eyes like a hawk.

  Linnet smirked like a vixen, "Nothing."

  "Humph. This isn't over, and you know it." Celest said then turned to leave.

  "You're no fun at all, and you know it!" Linnet tossed that witty comment almost unconsciously which caused Celest to almost stumble.

  *Tsk*

  Celest paused and looked backwards to give Linnet an amusing look which is between a gre and a stink eye then after clicking her tongue she opened her mouth to say : "Now I know why you and Bryan are a thing."

  Linnet's eyes shined with the bright glow of curiosity, "Why?" She asked while her demeanor softened instantly which gave her such a cute posture.

  "Humph. It's simple really... because you're a pair of very annoying smartasses and maybe that's why the two of you are such a perfectly fitting cheeks." Celest rolled her eyes and walked away.

  "Oh~ Thank you so much for the encouragement sister Celest." Linnet smiled after pushing that line in the end of their short conversation.

  'Damn it! I wasn't complimenting or encouraging you at all... But I can still get the answer from Bryan himself.' Celest thought while increasing the pace of her moving feet to leave the gym and kept reminding herself that giving a reply to Linnet would always make things worse for herself, but inwardly she was smiling widely because if her pn worked then she might get a chance to flip the table and gain a bit of an advantage for herself instead.

  "What's going on?" Riley asked Linnet since Celest just simply passed her by without responding to her inquiry and acted like she didn't see her or hear anything from her at all.

  Linnet giggled while squinting her eyes, "I'll tell you about it after you see Shawn and tell me what do you think about the guy." She said while taking her friend's hand between her own and shaking it back and forth like an excited little girl who's holding her parent's hand and having fun spending a perfect day.

  Celest on the other hand quickly made her way towards the medical examination room and pushed the door open, once inside she went towards the keyboard and pressed a few buttons which caused the screen to light up then split in half with two completely different images.

  The first view was of Bryan inside the simution chamber still wearing the funny-looking special attire and doing all sorts of weird and comical kinds of movements while the floor below his feet and surrounding him kept transforming between complex shapes but, what shocked Celest the most was the color of the many sensors on top of it.

  Simply because these sensors were glowing deep blue and almost about to turn purple.

  Almost immediately afterward, Celest's eyes turned to the other half of the screen where the view was of Bryan making his way upwards and actually about to reach the summit of the volcano while avoiding the chaotic flow of molten va!

  'He already made it this far! But how can he endure the extreme heat on top of the extreme mental and physical drain? I can't even imagine how exhausting it must've been for him to go that far climbing that volcano.' Celest thought while balling her fist because so far nobody passed this stage and not even the ones who programmed this system even know what happens afterwards since the artificial intelligence responsible for creating the different trials only create more difficult stages once someone passes the hardest one.

  *Beep*

  "Rebooting!"

  "Yes! he really did it." Celest celebrated once she heard the notification tune followed by the robotic voice coming from the screen before the chamber door opened automatically and she saw Bryan looking towards her with a confused expression all over his face behind the transparent shield of his helmet.

  "What's going on? I was kicked out all of a sudden!" Bryan said while looking around him to make sure he didn't break anything by mistake.

  Celest joined him in the simution chamber and helped him unlock the helmet, "I hope you choose to hide your information." She said while pulling the helmet up to free Bryan's head and only then Celest got to see that he's sweating more than David after he ran 5km in 20 minutes!

  Bryan nodded then pulled a towel from the wall to wipe his face while asking : "Yeah of course I hid everything about me, why?"

  "Because this building is one of many others everywhere in the world with simir medical examination facilities and all of them are connected, once you make your information public then you'd shock the whole world... I wouldn't be surprised if you get kidnaped by some government agency to be researched like some sort of b rat!" Celest said then enjoyed seeing Bryan get so uncomfortable and anxious all of a sudden.

  "I already knew about AA Group but I didn't hear about their facilities being linked unti-" Bryan paused right before he almost said something he shouldn't say.

  Celest frowned but held herself back from asking because judging from experience after what happened between them yesterday she already knows that it's better to give Bryan his space and not push for answers until he's ready to tell her himself.

  Of course Bryan noticed it when Celest clearly had difficulty in stopping herself from seeking more of his closely-held secrets, "Thanks." He said with genuine appreciation towards her for the immense respect and understanding she's giving him.

  Celest blushed and turned her head to look away in a failed attempt to hide her expression of mixed joy and embarrassment.

  But Bryan found her reaction extremely alluring and provocative which lit the fire of lust in his loins!

  However, once Bryan was about to make a tactical retreat before things escate between them to the point of no return Celest looked at him with a pair of sad and defenseless eyes which made her look extremely vulnerable his body instantly froze.

  Celest hesitated for a split-second before opening her mouth to say : "C-can you at least tell me about what you and Linnet are going to do tomorrow?" She approached him reflexively while asking and before he noticed Celest was now standing dangerously close to him.

  "I don't know! She talked about us having dinner with Riley and someone I know who lives next to my house that's all." Bryan tilted his head to the side while saying than and was about to disengage from this complex situation once again but Celest held on to his forearm and pulled herself closer towards him which officiated their bodies first intimate touch and looked up at him with a pair of adorable puppy eyes.

  'That sly bitch is definitely pnning something after that double date, she must be looking to surprise attack him with her estic body for sure... that's why she insisted that I keep the coast clear until the day after tomorrow! Got you now bitch.' Celest thought while opening her mouth to spontaneously say : "Can I come with?" But once she realized that she actually voiced her deep wish Celest decided to go all in which is why she added almost immediately : "Please~ Pretty please!" While acting all cute and sweet.

  "Uh... I-I guess!" Bryan said while trying his best to act as passive as possible in this situation to avoid getting himself in trouble, "But don't you have work and stuff?" He asked while imagining himself as some sort of dead fish!

  "I've been working a lot tely anyway," Celest's smile was so lovely, "It's about time I take a vacation." She said while tiptoeing then gave Bryan a quick kiss on his cheek then ran towards the door and left him standing there wondering if agreeing was the right decision to make.

  However, one second ter she returned to say : "You change out of that attire and go take a shower quickly because you stink." Then Celest ran away but the sound of her giggles could still be heard clearly.
