Once Celest entered the much busier training area of the gym she went directly towards the treadmills row, after checking the data to confirm that David followed her instructions and didn't try to cheat, Celest touched the screen to shut the treadmill off then gestured towards the corner where the bar is located and said : "That's a wrap. Go grab a water fsk and quickly come back to do your stretching."
"Huff... Huff... Hah... H-how about that huh! I ran 5km in... Huff... 20 minutes." David was sweating like crazy but there was this smug smile on his face when he acted like a proud peacock in front of Celest while trying his best to flex the muscles all over his body.
Unfortunately for him, even when his attempt to brag clearly succeeded since a few women on the nearby treadmills looked their way and gnced at his fit and muscur body with appreciative eyes... the answer he received from the woman he's trying to impress was an expression of someone looking at a complete idiot nothing more!
'I wonder what his reaction would be when this driver knows that his boss ran more than 14km in less that 8 minutes?' Celest thought to herself while gring at David and flicking one of her fingers towards the bar once again as if saying : "You better get your ass over there as quickly as possible or help me god I'd grind you in the next training session so bad you'd crawl your way out like a lizard at the end."
David was so disheartened by the harsh treatment this beautiful coach has been giving him ever since they met and walked away with his head lowered and his shoulders hunched forward like a little kid who's dispirited once he got scolded by his parent after causing mischief.
While doing his stretches under the supervision of this strict coach he saw Linnet entering the gym and his mood uplifted a bit, but his brief moment of pep was short lived since Celest gestured for the girl to go towards a corner on the other side of the training area where there's barely anyone using these equipment which are clearly specifically left there for those who love to do bancing on rings hanging from the ceiling and many other bars on top of the extremely wide, thick, and spongy mat.
"Jack." Celest called a tall man and gestured for him to come over.
The tanned man finished his set on the machine then let go of the handle which caused the weight to make a light sound once it nded then fixed his sleeveless top while getting up, "Need anything coach?" Jack said while standing next to her and crossing his arms, but his eyes were fixed on David who was doing his stretches on the yoga mat on the ground.
Celest looked up at Jack and gave him a friendly smile before saying : "This is David. Pair up with him while going through the rounds, and... go easy on him."
'Easy!' David thought to himself once he heard that st part of her phrase and felt like a cold dagger just pierced his already wounded pride.
Jack nodded and smiled widely which exposed two rows of perfectly white teeth, "You got it coach, I'll keep an eye on the newbie for you."
Celest patted Jack on the shoulder and walked towards Linnet who was doing her warmup routine, she left David behind who looked like something just broke inside of him!
'Fuck... This chick goes too far with the bullying.' David thought while gring at this Jack fellow with a pair of burning eyes!
"Oh! I like the spirited look in your eyes... Follow me, let's see what you're made of." Jack said then walked towards his favorite spot in the gym where the dumbbell and kettlebell racks are and snatched two dumbbells then put them next to the bench and started the first set while making sure to go slow on the reps to give David a chance to remember the motions, body positioning, and the required technique.
Thankfully Jack didn't notice the ridiculing look on David's face or this situation would've taken a turn for the worst between them.
"Show me what you got." Celest said while gesturing towards a pair of the still rings.
Linnet nodded then powdered her hands and stood beneath them then took a breath before looking up.
'Hmmm...' Celest immediately noticed it when the aura of the girl standing right in front of her changed once she looked up.
Indeed Linnet proved Celest's intuitive feelings right once she jumped and caught the rings then started to go through the motions in quick and smooth sequence of pulling, spreading, then pushing which had her transitioned from having her body beneath the rings to having about two-thirds of it above the rings then holding still for a second.
What followed was a perfectly straight front split which Linnet held for two seconds before slowly allowing the rings to spread further away to her sides until her two thin and fragile looking arms were at the same level of her hands which held the rings without losing control of her two legs which maintained the front split.
Two seconds ter she rexed both of her tense arms and legs and let her body hang once again from the rings but once the tip of her toes reached full stretch Linnet folded her legs towards her chest and maintained this posture for two more seconds then pulled with her hands on the rings until her body was flipped upside down.
What followed was a lithe and elegant dispy of pure agility and sophistication which caused many in the gym to pause and stare at Linnet with pairs of eyes full of awe, wonder, and a bit of hidden envy.
'I bet that lucky fellow would relish in the joy of having this girl in bed but I'm flexible enough myself, I can always compensate for that loss with my secret dancing moves and my own heavier assets... Oh my god Celest! He's not even yours yet, what are you thinking?' Celest was lost in her own daydreams while watching Linnet and her cheeks started to blush.
Linnet on the other hand wasn't satisfied with her earlier performance after letting go of the rings and shifted her attention towards the bar.
*Whistle*
"Wow!"
"That was so beautiful."
"It was. Is she a member of the gymnasts team about to head for the next Olympic games?"
"Who would go if she doesn't? I bet this girl is getting a medal for sure!"
But Linnet froze once she heard the people in the gym cheer and was shocked after finding that they're in fact doing so for her.
"Uh... T-this..." Linnet blushed and hid herself behind Celest to avoid the unexpected attention which is something she's not used to have from complete strangers unless they're perverts trying to take advantage of her!
"Hahaha..."
"So cute!"
"Hey. Cut it out!" Finally Celest intervened, "Back to business everyone." She said then turned towards Linnet but once she saw the look in her eyes Celest couldn't help herself and patted the girl on the head which made Linnet smile and give her a hug.
'What are you? Stop rubbing your head on my chest! Look at her purr like cat.' Despite having all these thoughts, Celest still allowed Linnet to hug and rub her head however she wanted.
Once Linnet had her moment and was ready to continue she seemed more and more frustrated with her current physical capabilities and Celest of course noticed it but she didn't say anything to comfort the girl, not because she's being cruel or anything like that but because she can use these feelings to fuel Linnet's passion and eagerness to improve in the future.
'Unlike Riley who's the type to self-motivate themselves by taking open praise or disparagement from others, Linnet seems like the type of person who can only be motivated through subtle guidance and vague criticism... no wonder these two are close friends! They're almost the complete opposite, is that why Bryan doesn't seem interested in Riley at all? What does that fellow has to do with this line of thought? But... sometime I act like Linnet and other time I act like Riley yet most of the time I'm not like any of them! Does that mean I stand no chance at all? Ugh... I think I'm losing my mind here for real.' Celest thought while scratching her head and the frown on her forehead was deepening a lot! 'Maybe I should go check on him to see how far he managed to advance in the simution room.'
