Chapter 51: James Wakes Up.

  (Celia’s POV)

  Just as she said, Faith had woken me up right before James was to wake up. Now I just had to pretend that I didn’t go on an entire adventure while she was sleeping…

  James: “…”

  Faith: “…”

  Celia: “…”

  James: “Ah, I was foolish to think that you’d keep your word on that matter.” She said with a sigh.

  Celia: “Huh? How do you even know that I left the castle in the first pce?” I asked with my arms crossed.

  James: “There is a new woman here, and you seem far stronger than before. And knowing how you like to be working 99% of the time, it is a good guess that you left while I was sleeping.” She answered with a confident tone.

  Celia: “(>3<)”

  Since she woke up after finally evolving, James was destined to be very hungry. As such, we decided to immediately have something to eat. We didn’t have any more food in the castle, but the System Store had a lot of tasty meals to choose from. And they were cheap as well!

  A Long Meal Later.

  James: “My Queen, I will keep your castle clean and secure. You can go on your way.” She said with a serious tone.

  Celia: “…You don’t wish to go with me?” I asked with a confused tone and expression.

  James: “You’re the type that needs a companion, My Queen. But with Faith by your side, I am not needed anymore. In fact, I would only slow you down.” She expined.

  Celia: “Slow me down? James, if this is about your Status… I can just give you more items to increase it.” I replied.

  James: “My Queen… I can’t keep up with your pace. I wasn’t asleep that long… but you’ve become so powerful since then. This isn’t me requesting to not go, all because I am weaker than you. I am just… a very slow person, one who wishes to live a slow life.” She replied with a serious tone.

  Faith: “Celia and slow… those two things do not go together at all. Do you know that she is only a little over 300 years old, yet she is almost the most powerful being in existence?” She added with a giggle.

  James: “I am aware of that, indeed. Which is just more of a reason to stay here, and not go with her. Please understand, my Queen.” She said with a bow.

  Celia: “…You can stay, James. Be please well. I will make sure to see you before I leave this dimension.” I say with a warm tone, rubbing her head.

  Saying my goodbyes to my dear maid, Faith and I left my castle. Unlike st time, we won’t be coming back here for a decent while. James… take care of yourself!

  Faith: “Due to me not wishing to be murdered by your wives for me flirting with you… rest assured, Celia, that won’t happen!” She swore with a joking tone.
