Episode 35: The School Idol Chapter - Wishing My Son Would Become a Dragon

Chapter 35: The School's Chosen One, Wishing for a Dragon Son

"Huh? Classmate, what are you doing standing at the door?" A voice suddenly sounded from outside the door.

"Auntie wants to enter this room?"

"What's wrong?" The voice asked in a puzzled tone, not understanding why the girl was blocking the doorway.

"Oh, it's nothing, nothing." Ye Xin hastily waved her hand and said, her inner panic like ants on a hot pot, retreating to the side, watching as the doorknob was slowly turned open.

I didn't expect to meet Lan Lu's mother in this way, just as I stood up after tying the safety charm for Lan Lu, she opened the door and came in.

Because it was too sudden, I was startled and turned around to face her, but just stared blankly at Ye Xin who followed behind. And Ye Xin was desperately making hand gestures towards me from behind, but I couldn't understand a single sentence.

Later I always thought that I and Lan Lu might have really been destined to be together, but this encounter with his mother was probably the end of our three-month relationship.

Those eyes, those words, almost made me shed tears. Although my parents have rich romantic cells and often ignore me, they are always immersed in their own world of two people.

But they never bear to scold their only precious daughter loudly, and even if they slightly scold her, she has already been hugged and coaxed away with pity.

I had never tried such a humiliating silence, just because she was the mother of Lan Lu, the mother of that boy I once liked so much.

Is it just because of the desire for their children to succeed and the anxious love for them?

After hearing my name, she no longer smiled politely, gave me a stern look and asked coldly, "Why aren't you obediently attending school? Why did you come here... Don't take those childish feelings as romance, what is love you don't even understand. Do you think it's child's play? Studying hard is the most important thing, or else you'll harm yourself and the other person." Do you think Auntie is right or not?

What a sharp and naked truth!

I didn't make a sound from start to finish, but Ye Xin was desperately trying to interject from the side, completely displeased with her critical-looking face.

I slightly pulled at Ye Xin's sleeve, hinting for her to stop. Then I turned my head to glance at Shan Lanluo who was still asleep, and took the lead in walking out of the hospital room.

Ye Xin followed me out, still holding a grudge in her mouth. "Shan Shan, I'm sorry, if it wasn't for me dragging you here, you wouldn't have run into Dan Lan Lu's mom."

"Are you okay? Don't stay silent, alright?" She leaned forward, carefully observing the look on my face.

"Alright, I'll lend you my body, do whatever you want to me and I won't have any regrets. But can you please not hit my face?" She said with a tragic tone, closing her eyes tightly and covering her face with both hands.

"Go with me to eat ice cream."

"What? Now?" Ye Xin put down her hand, staring at me with wide eyes, standing on the corner of the road, wearing the warmest winter clothes, but the cold wind still sneaked into her collar, making her teeth chatter.

  "That's right." I nodded wickedly.

"Do you want to turn your sorrow into food? You don't have to use ice cream for that!" Was she really going to sacrifice her life for a gentleman today? Ye Xin couldn't help but tremble slightly.

"But if I don't have ice cream, I'll think of some very unhappy things and feel terrible, maybe even think about it obsessively...". Her eyes were hollow and distant, mechanically counting on her fingers, the sight was terrifying.
