22 year old Northern American college student Jake Friedman is a little above average. Scores well in his classes, works in university housing, has a full scholarship and meal plan, physically fit,in various clubs and student organizatons, and more. A well rounded individual, but not out of the ordinary. Yet, one night, Jake vanishes into a fantasy world in his sleep, out of the blue. The life he knew is gone, and he finds himself somewhere he sparsely recognizes. He played Dungeons and Dragons a lot as a kid, be it with family or friends, and spent a lot of time as various characters from all over the planes. Now, he finds himself inside one of those worlds, one he''''d never seen before. Who brought him here? Why? What do they want? How can he get home? After making a character for himself, he learns this is his new reality, and one that threatens his life at almost every turn.
