​The story begins with a young survivor rescued from a village massacre by the Order of the Wolves, an elite group of warriors, mages, archers, and alchemists. After being welcomed as a "pup" and rising to become a leader within the Order, the protagonist is sent on a separate mission while his comrades are dispatched to investigate a surge in monster uprisings.
