Chapter Thirteen: Marching into the Iron Mine
"How is it?" Chen Le asked without turning his head as he stood on the reconnaissance tower.
"He has already been convinced by me, Your Majesty." Ting Fei said calmly without any emotion.
"Huh? Dìng Fēi, what's wrong with you today? Your tone is a bit different from usual?" Chen Lè asked, turning his head around to ask.
"Wang Shang, I just heard some things about my past family," Ding Fei said slowly.
"Oh. Come to think of it, I've never heard you mention your past before. Tell me about it sometime." Chen Le looked at Ding Fei's expression which seemed a bit off and didn't continue asking.
"Your Majesty, may I let Abigail in?" Ting Fei said with an unchanged expression.
"It's okay, but you can't return to your original expression. The one you have now feels weird." Chen said gloomily.
"It's the master." Ding Fei replied and then smiled, but this smile was even uglier than crying.
"You'd better stop laughing, I almost got scared to death by you." Chen Le said weakly.
Abigail came in at this time.
"Abigail, are you still so proud now?" Chen Le's mouth curled up, with a look of being pleased with oneself.
"I don't know... Wang Shang!" Abigail only then realized she didn't know what to call this human, but in her haste, she borrowed the Shadow Hunter's title for Chen Le.
"Haha, you're clever." Chen Le laughed loudly and said.
"Ah, thank you for the compliment, Wang." Abigail's forehead was now beaded with cold sweat.
"Alright, now you tell me, where is the reinforcement from your Edelira tribe?" Chen Le's expression suddenly turned serious.
"Ding Fei, take him to the map in front of the hall (the screen in the Beast Hall is a large map)." Chen Le said as he walked.
I am yd's dividing line
"Tell me, how many troops has the Empire of Indra sent and where have they gone?" Chen Le asked Abigail.
"This time the tribe has sent 5,000 level 3 soldiers, 500 level 4 soldiers, and 6 great leaders. They've basically dispatched half of the tribe's military strength." Abigail said respectfully.
"Oh, quite a few have arrived, huh? So tell me, where exactly did they go?" Chen Le pointed to the map and said: "You point yourself."
"Here it is!" Abigail exclaimed, pointing at the map.
"An iron mine!" Chen Le exclaimed: "The iron mine is less than 10 kilometers away from your tribe, and it's been almost eight days since you sent out a distress signal. How did you guys crawl here?"
"This, Your Majesty, is not our fault, it's all the fault of the Alex tribe and the Kurdish tribe!" Abigail explained hastily.
"Oh, then tell me, what exactly happened in between?" Chen Le's interest was suddenly piqued, and he was also curious about what the two tribes had done to block the Yingdi La tribe for so long.
"Wang Shang, Alex's tribe and the Kurdish tribe organized a coalition force with 8,000 third-level soldiers, 700 fourth-level soldiers, and 10 great generals to block our tribe's reinforcements at the iron mine." Abigail said, drawing her hand.
"Oh, so how did they stop you from advancing?" Chen Le asked puzzledly, looking at the map.
"They organized a defense line near the Iron Mine's Soulscar Cliff. And this defense line has completely blocked the road, if the tribal reinforcements want to detour, they must go around Soulscar Cliff and then walk for nearly half a month to arrive!" Abigail said dejectedly.
"How did you come?" Chen Le asked in puzzlement.
"It was some giant brothers who covered me, and I ran over here by myself." Abigail's tears flowed down.
"Ding Fei, have Ma Dele bury the corpses of those giant demon brothers properly." Chen Le ordered Ding Fei who was called over.
"Tell me, what's your plan this time? I don't believe it's just to ask us how we're doing." Chen Le asked, looking at the map.
"I originally intended to hope that the Worgkin tribe would send a team to attack the Allied defensive line, and then break through that defensive line from inside and outside." Medel hesitated and shouted.
"You clearly know that the Wode tribe is under attack by the Blood Wolf tribe and may be breached at any time. Now you actually want them to send out a small number of troops, what are your intentions?" Chen Le said calmly.
"King above! This is really helpless, I plan to let this army take the old and young of our tribe to attack, in this way, although the Wolkin tribe will be destroyed, at least some seeds will be left!" Abigail cried out.
"Alright then, I'll believe you this time." Chen Le's expression improved slightly as he said that.
"Well then, Wang Shang, when shall we set out with the elderly and children of our clan?" Abigail asked cautiously.
"Bring along the elderly and children of the tribe? No need." Chen Le said lightly as he looked at the map.
"What! Your Majesty, you must think thrice, the Blood Wolf tribe may attack at any time, and the Wolkin tribe is in a precarious situation. Please, Your Majesty, think thrice!" Abigail said hastily.
"The Blood Wolf Tribe? That name became history yesterday." Chen Le said lightly.
"What! The Blood Wolf Tribe has become history!" Abigail exclaimed in shock.
"Ha! You wait at the door of Medel's room, you might find Chaurus' wolf head." Chen Le said with a smile.
"What!" Abigail had originally thought that it was just a matter of severely injuring the Blood Wolf tribe, but she hadn't expected that even Chawos, the Blood Wolf, would be killed.
"How many warriors have fallen in the tribe now?" Abigail asked cautiously, if they could wipe out the Blood Wolf Tribe, the Madel Tribe would definitely be severely injured.
"Less than 20 people." Chen Le said lightly and calmly.
Abigail was as if struck by lightning. He completely dared not believe that with such an almost negligible cost, a second-rate tribe would be destroyed.
"Hey, wake up." Chen Le saw Abigail motionless and thought she had been attacked.
"Oh, oh, King Above, can you tell me how you did it?" Abigail asked hastily.
"When you came, didn't you pass through a forest? Didn't you see that the other side of the forest has been burned to ashes? Go up to the reconnaissance tower yourself, from there you can just see what's going on in that part of the forest." Chen Le immediately believed the rumor about the Beastmen's low IQ.
"King...can't you just leave me alone for a moment? I feel like I'm having trouble believing this right now." Abigail said incoherently.
"Alright, you think about it yourself, I'm leaving first." Chen Le also lost interest and walked out of the Beast Tribe Hall.
"Medel, you're just in time. Your uncle seems to have received some kind of stimulation, go comfort him. By the way, if we need to send troops later, there's no need to ask for my permission." Chen Le threw down this inexplicable sentence and quickly left Medel's side.
"Yes, Your Majesty." Although Mader didn't know what had just happened, he knew that his beloved king had given him the power to deploy troops.
Madel walked into the War Song Hall and saw his uncle kneeling there, motionless.
"Uncle, feed, uncle." Madel slapped Abigail hard.
"Oh, oh. Nephew, you've come." Abigail's soul seemed to have escaped at this moment.
"Nephew, tell Uncle if the Blood Wolf Tribe is really gone!" Abigail said, tugging on Madel's clothes.
"Yes, really nothing else, I've taken back all of Father's relics." Madeleine said happily.
"Haha, great, your aunt can finally rest assured." Abigail said happily.
"Meddler, my nephew, tell your uncle quickly, what is the situation with the Wolkin tribe now!" Abigail asked like a madwoman.
"Uncle, I'll tell you about all the miracles that Wang Shang brought right away," said Made excitedly.
Half an hour later
"Maidele, how many people are you planning to bring?" Chen Le asked.
"Your Majesty, I wish to bring 3,000 fourth-level Ogre Headhunters and 50 fifth-level Berserker Ogre Headhunters," Medel said respectfully.
"You take care of it, no need to notify me." Chen Le waved his hand and left with a group of beastman guards (those summoned soldiers).
"It's the king!" Maddel shouted.
"Brothers, the target is the Iron Mine! It's time to let those stupid centaurs and trolls witness the power of our ogre!" Medel said, waving his long spear.
"Let's go!"
The ogres set off in a mighty throng, and a storm of blood and fire is about to arrive. No one knows how many lives will be lost at the hands of this group of ogres.
