Long before Metis Garcia was born, in the mid 2010’s, magical girls appeared, nobody knew why or how random high-school girls randomly gained their powers, until they appeared. Human but not quite, would be the best description, strange, absurd. Of course humanity endured, sort of. Now in the far future, humanity has moved outward into the vast reaches of space, with land ripe for colonization and commercialization. Metis Garcia is a thirty two year old college dropout, who joined the military, climbed the ranks until he was considered a valued military analyst, married a thirty four year old magical girl comrade and now as a reward for all their contributions, Metis and his wife have been allotted as personal on the next voyage to colonize a new planet.
