  Walking onto the se and fshing everyone a pyful smile, Alex cocked his head to the side and said with a grin

  "You are really too sharp for your own good, Megicu!!"

  Walking into the training room with Nacht on his tail, Alex oward the downed magiights before fog his full attention on Megid Vanica.

  "Fufufu~" C her mouth and giggling, Megicu looked at him up and down with a pleasing smile. "You are not the only oh a hidden ace."

  "Hidden Ace?..." Alex tilted his head to the side and grinned. "Aah, that, huh? Well, I ried to hide it anyway. It's just the others are too slow to catch up to me."

  He then stared at Megid chuckled. "But it seems you are much more intelligent than you let others presume."

  "W-What is going on here? Asta, what are you talking about?"

  Uo follow the versation, Nacht looked at Alex with a questioning gaze.

  "Looks like I'm the only one who uands you."

  Seeing the fused looks on the faces of Nacht and the other Clover knights, Megicu couldn't help but find this situation incredibly funny as she once again covered her mouth and ughed.

  "But if you don't want to expin, I don't mind doing it for you. What do you say?"

  "...Why not? Be my guest!" Shrugging his shoulders, Alex gave her the green light.

  Smiling at the firmation, Megicu gleefully expined what was going on to the fused humans.

  In short, Alex's real goal was o open up all the gates of the underworld.

  After spending a bit of time with Moris and researg quite a bit, Alex learhat his magic could be used to speed up the ritual of Qilphoth by breaking down the barriers between this world and the underworld.

  That was the inal ped by the Dark Traids, to let devils loose into this world.

  But Alex took it another notch higher and pletely evolved it into something different.

  Instead of allowing them to run wild in this world and giving them the potential ce to hide from him, once he went on a killing spree.

  Wouldn't it be better to do a reverse ritual of Qilphoth instead?

  If the devils could use this ritual to travel to this world, couldn't he use it to travel to the underworld?

  Instead of the devils running loose and terrorizing humanity, he could flip the script and terrorize devilkind!

  "Y-You'd lock yourself in the underworld with the devils!" Noelle excimed with a shaky voice. She could not believe it at all. Only someoh a death wish would actually do something so reckless.

  "Fufufufu." Megicu giggled and looked down on her. "You silly girl."

  "You still don't get it, do you? If he goes down to the underworld, he wouldn't be trapped in there with us. Instead it would be the devils trapped in there with HIM!!"

  "What!" Everyone gasped in shock upon hearing that.

  "And he has the power to do it." She tinued, finishing it with a giggle.

  "He's already disposed of the two supreme devils of the first yer. And sidering that he's not showing any signs of injury or fatigue, I'd say he's more than capable of handling the sed to fourth yer without too much trouble."

  "But what does this have to do with him not needing to open up the ates?" Nacht asked curiously.

  "Excellent question!"

  Hearing Nacht's question, Megicu couldn't help but cp her hands together.

  "As I've said before, he only he first gate to be opened in order to travel to the underworld. But did you know that as a byproduct of opening a el between this world and my world... unstable fissures in space have beeed?"

  "Unstable fissures in space?" Nacht and others were pletely unfamiliar with that term.

  "Mmm. If the ritual be described as a door to the underworld, think of these fissures as temporary windows."

  "Temporary windows?... You mean..." Secre looked dumbfounded as she g Alex.

  "Mmm." She smiled and nodded. "Even if the first gate is closed..."

  "I still go to the underworld." Alex grinned and finished her senteaking back trol of the room.

  "Asta..." Secre whispered worriedly as she looked at him.

  "As long as the devils are trapped in the underworld, there won't be anywhere for them to run and hide. Even if they somehow mao evade me, as long as I am in the underworld, they will eventually get face to face with my bde, and then Hehe... I am iable."

  "At least that is how it should have been."

  Looking over at Megicu, he couldn't help but frown.

  "Aww~ Did my maion ruin your pns?" She teased.

  "Nope." He shook his head. "I always have different pns for you pared to your other friends."

  "Among all the highest-ranking devils, the only ones who garner my attention are undoubtedly you, Astaroth who made a tract with Lucious or Julius whatever you want to name him, and stly Lucifugus."

  Alex stared at Megicu with a pyful smile and tinued. "When I kill Lucius, Astaroth's host, I mistakenly read his memories and I find something iing in them."

  "Iing? Tell me more." Megicu's i was instantly picked when she heard about the Time Magic Devil, who once ruled the Underworld alongside Lucifero and Beelzebub.

  Alex chuckled as he saw that she had been hooked. "I have to say that the eldest sibling of the Zogratis family is really a unique character. He has developed a method with which he could absorb the other Supreme Devils' magito himself and evolve to a higher realm."

  "When I learhat, I wao try it too and I want to do that experiment on you, Megicu but as... it seems you have to die here now!"

  Megicu was really intrigued by his idea and wao try it herself but when she heard his st sentence, a devilish grin appeared on her face.

  "Is that so."

  'Curse-Warding Magibound Sve!'

  She pced a rune array on Vanica's now pletely bck head.
