131~Revista-Mark-i

Yvlena woke to the sounds of birds chirping as she found herself in Bloom Haven. The setup for the Revista Mark-i had taken less time than the previous iteration. She blinked, holding a hand over her face to block the sun rays penetrating the leaves.

Her face felt a bit warm from the light of the sun. Something she had never noticed before, could it be that she could feel the temperature of certain areas now?

Yvlena made to stand. Noticing the responsiveness of her movements now with the Zephyr, it was as smooth as butter, but the Revista mark-i was definitely an overall improvement.

“I wonder how this will affect my combat.” She said, rising from her space under the tree. As she did, the fragrant scent of flowers drew her attention to the garden where she had pnted her flowers. A lot of them had bloomed.

From her long absence, escorting Dyn, a lot of them had withered but few remained. She rushed over, gathering the ones that persisted in their growth while clearing out the dead leaves and weeds that had grown all over her patches.

“So many of them died, there’s got to be a way to look after this garden when I’m not at the Manor.” Yvlena said as she worked.

As soon as she finished, her vision began to swim and soon Yvlena found herself on the grassy floor.

  [Yvlena is Exhausted]

“Ugh, that’s right I took such a long quest and I don’t remember eating anything during the second half of it!” She said. The elf reached into her inventory and pulled out one of the Rexation Potions Risel had given her.

She popped the cork and downed the refreshing potion she could taste better now, the cool liquid flowed down her throat bringing along with it a minty, fruity fvor she could now identify as a citrusy taste.

“Wow.” She gasped, keeping the bottle back into her inventory. She stood up, regaining her bance. Exhaustion was a nasty status effect and she was lucky she had only gotten it while she was at the Rose Manor and not during a battle.

“Does that mean the Revista Mark-i has a stamina bar?” Yvlena asked, rubbing her head. If she could feel temperature, taste better, and move more smoothly, did that mean there were more features she would notice ter?

“Nice, now I have enough to make some more potions. I guess I should find Laurent and give him that pork.” She said, heading towards the Manor gates, her body felt more comfortable moving around and she even felt bdes of tall grass brush against her boots.

She smiled, looking over the Rose Manor, the whole pce was looking better thanks to her care.

“There still needs to be some repairs, I mean some wood and maybe some stone, but the front is clear, I shudder to think of what the back looks like.” Yvlena exhaled and pushed open the gates to step into the Floral District.

It would only be a short walk towards the Artisan District and then the Library where she would find Laurent.

“It’s been so long I forgot what the reward for this quest even was. I was so occupied with keeping Dyn alive.” Yvlena said. Her feet ccked against the now repaired cobblestone. “Huh, when did that happen?” there was a hint of happiness in her voice.

The streets of the Floral District brimmed with life as more occupants moved into the once vacant houses, and with the power of her new headgear, Yvlena could smell the fragrant flowers and admire the vibrant colors dotting the townscape.

‘More pces to explore and more NPCs to meet.’ Yvlena thought as she gnced over the streets as she made her way out of the area.

“It's now almost as beautiful as the Artisan District now. I wonder if Risel’s come by this district tely.” Indeed, now she saw flowers hanging from the rafters and the banisters of the houses, potted pnts sat outside of the home and on windowsills lending more to the beauty of the District.

When she first started the game, the Floral District was the worst in Bloom Haven.

When she had first id her eyes upon it, it was dipidated with many of the homes crumbling to near ruins. Now she saw mothers and their children ughing and running around.

She heard the simmer of pots on the stove and wafting scents of home cooked meals. She passed the Tea House and could hear the murmurs of citizens settling to enjoy a nice cup of tea.

‘Remind me to pay Iris a visit ter, I need to see how she’s doing.’ Yvlena thought happily.

Iris was the grumpy owner of the Tea House who had closed it down due to the ck of patrons in Bloom Haven, but with the activity picking up, it seemed her mood had significantly lightened.

But the NPC that had her heart was Beatrice, The kindly old woman who was distantly reted to the previous Harvest Guardian whose daughter had gone missing searching for Rael.

Bursting out of the Floral District, Yvlena ran toward the town center before she could make her way towards the Artisan District, she took note of Bernard's store with caravans parked in front of it and customers going in and out.

With the Revista Mark-i, the Artisan District smelled amazing, but before Yvlena decided to visit Risel she would have to complete the quest Laurent had given her. She didn't know if the quest had a time limit so she worriedly ran towards the library.

She was met with the sight of the Elven gods guarding the entrance of the Library, the faces had long faded, unlike the statue in Bloom Valley's depths. It was strange seeing as Yvlena recalled them having much clearer faces when she had pyed before.

Would there possibly be a way to restore them to their original glory? Even the faces at the Rose Manor looked so much better than what was currently in front of the library.

She moved through the door ignoring the statues for now. Yvlena's feet carried her towards the library's lobby where Laurent was waiting to collect the pork she had graciously sourced for him. She found the library suspiciously void of people.

‘Where is everyone?’ she wondered, as she walked down to the lobby where Laurent was diligently cataloging his texts.

“Yvlena.” He said, looking up from the book he held in his hands “It’s been a while, I assume your escort quest took longer than expected.” he said jovially.

Yvlena slouched over, resting her elbows on the table.

“Hi Laurent, I have the meat from the Forest Boar for you. You would not believe what I had to go through to get it.” Yvlena said, handing him the pork, a notification popped up on screen telling her she had fulfilled the mission.

  [Quest complete: Laurent’s Dinner
