  At first, I thought about including Emilia on the cover of the fourth volume as well since she is the most popur character of the novel in this world, but I decided to make aical copy of the inal cover.

  Priscil is a very important character in this volume, so she has to be the main focus of the cover.

  So, I began expining to Bel how I wahe cover. Since Priscil appears for the first time in volume four, Bel has no idea what she looks like. I decided to write down all the details of her appearance.

  I wrote down every possible detail: her fan, her dress, the colors, EVERYTHING!

  I even made a drawing.

  Bel chuckled when I unfolded the paper from my pocket and ha to her.

  "Hehehe, your drawing is so cute."

  "Is it that bad?"

  "It's not that. It's cute. You should study art a little more—you have a knack for it."

  "If I start studying art, I might steal your job. I wouldn't want to do that."

  "Hahaha, true. Luan is so talehat I'm sure he'd surpass you ihan a month!" Bel's mother said, teasing her daughter.

  I tried to expin it to them as best as I could.

"A pletely different world with enormous buildings, high-speed vehicles, a mode of transportation that flies through the skies… And those things called puters, televisions, and those headsets sses that take you to another world."

  "The headsets don't actually take you to another world; it's more like a dream. It's not real."

  "That's even harder to imagine. I'm curious to see how you wrote about this in the book."

  "Even though I created all this, it's not that important to the story. The protagonist ends up trapped in the game world. A world with monsters, simir to this one."

  "I see. So, it's like Re:Zero, then."

  "Exactly. The world I'll show at the start of Overlord is simir to Subaru's world before he went to another world. Don't you remember when I described his room, the venieore, the puter?"

  "Oh, that's right! I do remember that," Meteria said excitedly. "But I don't recall you mentioning those headsets."

  "I'm really ied in this story too, but I'm even more curious about the characters' designs. I'm not sure how I'll draw this undead protagonist, so I hope you'll give me some tips."

  "Don't worry, I'll lend you the first volume of Overlord so you read it a an idea of what the characters are like, and I'll also draw a sketch of the characters to help you."

  "Hey, I want to read it too!" Meteria said, pouting. "When Bel finishes, I read it?"

  "I don't mind. You read it if you want. I have volume oh me—here it is." I got the volume one from my iory and ha to Bel.
