Chapter 49: One Last Stop Before Going to My Wife.

  (Faith’s POV)

Unlike most beings, I was free to roam dimensions as I pleased. Most were completely empty, though. Only the various Hells and Heaven still had people in them. Of course, this went for Home, and that one safe universe as well.

Since I was free to do what I want, and go where I wished to go, I had one pce to visit… It had been a while since I’ve seen Sava. That went for when Celia was by Sava’s side, and how I was killed by that Will.

  Some Universe Traveling Later.

  Sava: “…”

  Faith: “…”

  Sava: “( ’-’ ~)”

Faith: “T-that’s your reaction to seeing your daughter after so many years!?” I ask with a hurt tone.

Sava: “It is only right that I give you the cold shoulder, you unfilial daughter.” She replied with a shrug.

What?… This wasn’t how I expected for things to go… Wasn’t this supposed to be a tear-jerking reunion between long-lost mother and daughter? This script is all wrong!

Sava: “Who do you take me for? Some random woman who adopted a girl all because she was lonely?” She asked with a scolding tone.

  Faith: “…”

Sava: “I love Celia as my daughter now, that much is true. But the main reason that I helped her out… is because I knew that you were inside of her soul.” She expined.

Faith: “Wait… then why didn’t you say something?” I asked with a shocked tone.

Sava: “I wasn’t aware if Celia knew about you, and I didn’t wish to cause you to be hurt. Or worse… killed by our family.” She answered with a sigh.

Faith: “…She knows now, and Celia has known for a long while.” I replied with a sigh of my own.

Sava: “Oh… so you told her, but didn’t reveal yourself to your dear mother? And here you are… in the flesh. You clearly don’t care for me at all!” She pouted.

Faith: “Hey! I had to trick and steal half of Maralia’s Divinity to get this body! It wasn’t like I could just get a new vessel whenever I wanted to…” I also said with a pout.

Sava: “Huh? Ah, welcome back, dear daughter of mine. I missed you so much!” She said, changing her tone, switching it to a motherly one, and giving me a tight hug.

  Faith: “(~OAO)”

Was my Mother always this flippant? Maybe she got like this in her old age… Either way, I still love her dearly. Though, I was very worried that she didn’t love me still…

Sava: “We can catch up after the game is over, Faith. Until then… you should return to Celia’s side. She really needs you with her.” She suggested.

Faith: “How do you know that?” I asked with a head tilt.

Sava: “A mother is like that. We just know these things… Don’t question it, and do as I suggest.” She scolded in reply.

  Faith: “…”

All of these women have greatly ruined their images in my mind and heart. Ah, Celia, you’re truly the greatest woman in existence! I absolutely will follow Sava’s words, but only because I want to be near you again, so that I can give you my warmth, and so that I can feel yours in return…
