Volume 7. Chapter 8: Learning the Ropes. (Chapter 609.)

  Chapter 8: Learning the Ropes.

  (Celia’s POV)

Truthfully, it wasn’t like I couldn’t go this fast before. Well… I mean, I can go far, far faster than before, but my speed was still country miles above an average human’s top speed.

The major difference was how I had to actually try and go that fast, rather than just doing it by default. But Sava did teach me how to use my divinity a little bit, and now that I know why this is happening, I should be able to figure it out quickly.

  Quickly Later.

  Faith: “Impressive!” She praised.

Celia: “Thank you! Hey… do you think that I could rewind time if I go around this planet fast enough?” I ask with a curious tone.

Faith: “You could, so don’t try it at all!” She said with a serious tone.

  Celia: “( o_o)”

Really? No way, though… I mean, I was a teacher, so I know that such a method wouldn’t work at all. Or, perhaps I could reverse the planet’s rotation, but time would not go backwards. That’d just be silly…

  Stolen story; please report.

Faith: “No, really, don’t try it. Goddess and Gods are capable of doing this as well, but it takes up far too much of their divinity for them to even think about attempting it. But for a Highest Goddess like you… Using your divinity, you’d only need seconds to turn this planet into an unborn star!” She explained with a grim tone.

Celia: “Okay, okay! I was just joking…” I reply with a coaxing tone.

Faith: “Good, good… Now then, remember that you’re still being watched by quintillions of people, so be on your best behavior.” She advised after calming tone.

  Celia: “…”

Fuck, fuck, fuck! Quintillions of people just tuned in to watch me flail around like a complete idiot!!! Oh, my, Goddess… I am so fucking embarrassed! How the hell can I recover from this embarrassment? Planet… I might have to rewind you into nothingness!!!

Faith: “Stop being embarrassed, and go out to do what you set out from the castle to do.” She scolded.

Celia: “Huh? Remind me what that was again, please…” I replied with a confused tone.

  Faith: “…”

  Celia: “…”

Faith: “You left James’s side, all just to get levels up. Do you remember now?” She replied with a disappointed tone.

Celia: “I do, thanks… Sorry, I got caught up in that divinity learning thing, so I completely forgot about my actual goal.” I reply with a remorseful tone.

Faith: “Don’t feel bad about it, Celia. With this evolution, you can longer act like a human. Like a typical Higher Being, you’ll find one thing to be interested in, and forget about anything else.” She coaxed in reply.

Celia: “What? I will… become single-minded!?” I exclaim in shock.

Faith: “Most likely, yes. Or rather, only when you have focused on something that greatly interest you. After all, you spent an entire day learning how to use your divinity, but probably only think that it has been less than an hour, right?” She clarified with a giggle.

  Celia: “…”
