Volume 6. Chapter 62: Working it out. (Chapter 563.)

  Chapter 62: Working it out.

  (Celia’s POV)

Celia was now sleeping soundly, and with her head nuzzled into my bosom. I needed her to rest as soon as possible, as her soul was being stained further.

Most Higher Beings are selfish, and they rarely care about anyone other than themselves. Even with their spouses, they don’t put so much stock in them, either.

This is where Celia differs greatly, and perhaps why so many women are indirectly seduced by her. Celia’s love is strong, and oh so potent. Even if she lives for thousands of years, this woman will probably remain the same as well…

Faith: “Celia is getting too stressed, and the stains on her soul are increasing.”

Maralia: “I can tell. Keep her sleeping for a bit, I will figure something out.”

A Higher Being, despite the power, is not invincible. Nor is their position without downsides. Taking on love and care for someone as any race of a God, Goddess, or higher, comes with stains.

Celia definitely has gotten a lot of stains through her family, but they wouldn’t be life threatening. Instead, the true problems lie within how Celia acts.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

The woman clearly loves each and every female that she comes across. This is the main issue, the one that is slowly killing her. Or, to be more specific, it has already greatly limited her remaining time, and nothing can be done to save her.

Anything… moral, that is. But, that is a discussion for far later. At the moment, Celia has more than enough time to live, without us needing to resort to… extremely drastic measures.

Maralia: “When she wakes up, ask her to buy an item from the System Store.”

She already dealt with this so quickly? Her love for Celia isn’t to be underestimated, it seems. Regardless, at least the fix was quickly come up with.

  Faith: “What kind of item?”

Maralia: “A device that detects divinity within a sizable radius. With it, Celia won’t have any problems finding players, and you won’t have to cheat for her.”

Faith: “Let me guess… it is absolutely expensive, right?”

Maralia: “Such a device would be great for most players, so, of course, it was made expensive.”

Faith: “Well, that’s fine. Celia was never one to be stingy with her SIPs.”

Maralia: “She does have a lot of them right now…”

Since the problem was solved now, I talked to Maralia for only a bit longer. My mind wondered to Celia’s family. Now that they’re all Higher Beings, their selfishness is impossible to hide or resist.

That is just what a Higher Being is, in truth. A very powerful and selfish person. After all, rarely do 100% selfless people gain such power. This is what causes Celia to get so many stains from them…

Her family is too big, and, coupled with her Domain which makes her love every woman, the toll was immense upon Celia’s beautiful soul. Maybe… we’ll find a way that isn’t that method to save her. But for now… I will enjoy the cute sleeping girl that is my future wife.
