Chapter LXXVII Seventy Seven

A beautiful elven maiden robed in a form-hugging silken nightgown sat illuminated by a bzing fire. Her luxurious pink hair draped her shoulders as she concentrated on a thick tome weathered with age. The antique leatherbound book was covered in decorative gold filigree. The title was written in flowing elven script which read the Midnight Sun. Estra suddenly cursed aloud, smming the priceless pages closed before unching the heavy book at the wall with all her might.

โ€œUgh!โ€ Estra vehemently excimed, giving up her study of the ancient ritual in frustration. โ€œI canโ€™t do this without Dink. Itโ€™s as Madame Celeste said, I was naive to believe I could take control of the Expanding Woods. The ritualโ€™s worthless without an anchor to the magic that created it. Axion cims the corrupted avatar of Mercy revealed Dink to be the Sword Saint before his death. Foolish! To think I stumbled upon the one thing that could have possibly worked, the cause of the cataclysm in the first pce. But then I had to get greedy and lost it all because I received mana backsh and he had to sacrifice himself to save me.โ€

A curled reddish-brown Goblin in front of the fire jumped up in fright at the unexpected outburst. Murkuk stared around the room in disorientation, blinking his eyes into focus. Seeing nothing to be concerned about, his cwed feet shuffled to ftten the plush fur rug before slowly ying back down.

Estra could feel the Goblinโ€™s irritation at being disturbed through their bond. He wouldnโ€™t dare voice it aloud or act upon his violent impulses in her presence. With Dink gone, she had inherited ownership of the magical contract as the one with the rgest mana pool. All at once, that abruptly changed.

โ€œChief!โ€ Murkuk shouted, leaping back to his feet.

  โ€œDink!โ€ Estra shouted in unison.

The pair shared an eted look between them, for entirely different reasons. Murkuk felt his stifling by Estraโ€™s elven emotions and limiting moral code just slip away. Estra was overwhelmed by an enormous sense of returning hope welling up within her buxom chest. The beautiful maidenโ€™s gaze was filled with longing as it shifted to the moonlit window. She subconsciously reached up to adjust the pel of her robe that had fallen to reveal the supple flesh of her porcein shoulder. Murkuk lecherously stared at the glimpse of her raised nipple pressed against the sheer fabric, his thoughts no longer restrained by their bond.

โ€œHeโ€™s back!โ€ Estra breathed into the night.

Dink flew high among the fog-covered mountains, trapped within the crystalline prison of the demon heart attached to his sword. His physical body remained unperturbed at being carried through the clouds by the cws of a Harpy while unable to see the ground thousands of feet below them. He was too preoccupied with leering up at the female monsterโ€™s feathered but still very tempting ass with wide-eyed devotion.

I donโ€™t know whatโ€™s worse, being trapped outside my body or having to watch this mindless idiot have all the fun.

โ€œUnhand me, you foul cretins! I am not some morsel for you to take back to your nest to snack upon!โ€ A man shouted indignantly from the grip of another Harpy up ahead.

The man was the veteran lightly armoured guard abandoned by the merchant he was hired to protect. After Dink had disarmed him back at the road, the Harpies had snatched them both up, and now, they were being carried off deep into the Laughing Peak mountains.

โ€œI think the man needs to stop squirming unless he wants an impromptu meeting with the dirt at terminal velocity,โ€ Dink muttered to himself inside the demonheart prison.

Almost in response to his words, the manโ€™s filing caused the Harpyโ€™s grip to falter. He briefly slipped free of her grasp before she let go and caught him in her other cw to readjust. The veteran clearly didnโ€™t learn his lesson and continued to struggle until the Harpy let go in annoyance and he began to plummet.

The look of surprise on the manโ€™s face was priceless, causing Dink to unleash an involuntary chuckle. The expression on the Harpyโ€™s face was not quite so amused when she sneered down at her falling prey. Her shapely exposed breasts pressed together as she tucked her wings against her side and fell into a well-practised nose dive.

  โ€œAhhhhhhhhh!โ€

Dink watched the screaming manโ€™s plight with interest, climbing from his mental seat to peer through the crystalline window. He was rapidly getting dangerously close to the jagged cliffside below. The Harpy accelerated to overtake the man, fring her wings and swooping upward at the st second. His feet lightly scraped against a smooth boulder, dislodging a weed growing in the crag and knocking a loose rock over the ledge. Within moments, more rocks joined the first to accumute into a violent ndslide.

โ€œCaw!โ€ The Harpy screeched in rage, lifting the pale trembling man while fpping her wings to gain altitude.

The Harpy flock hovered in pce as she brought the veteran back up to height. Dink got a good look at the manโ€™s sweat-beaded brow, now wisely choosing to remain silent and still.

โ€œChirp, chirp, chirp!โ€ Another Harpy flew close to mock her peer in their musical bird nguage. Her unintelligible words were answered with ughter from the onlookers.

The Harpyโ€™s pretty face contorted in embarrassment, flushing even her perky bosom pink. A colossal eye abruptly blocked Dinkโ€™s vantage point. A curious Harpy got close to stare quizzingly at the demonheart clutched outside in the physical Dinkโ€™s grasp. He jolted and involuntarily stepped backwards.

โ€œIntoxicating to watch, are they not?โ€ A seductive voice unexpectedly asked behind him. Dink spun to investigate the source, momentarily forgetting how to speak as he immediately recognised the speaker. โ€œKeke, surprised to see me again, my pet? Donโ€™t be, you and I have plenty of time to grow intimate.โ€

The Succubus, Jiltia, looked the same as her st moments before the Soulweaver, the lich-form of master Jackin, transformed her into Dinkโ€™s demonheart prison. She was a breathtakingly mature woman accentuated by the signs of age instead of diminished. Thatโ€™s where all resembnce to a Human ended. Dark ridged horns adorned her brow and armoured cws emerged from fwless skin, perfect in form with tits that defied the gods in their shape.

Her velvet shimmering wings seductively parted to put her invigorating curves on full dispy. Soft, yet athletic thighs provocatively rubbed together as she took a step towards Dink, her pointed tail snaking from behind to embrace his waist.
