Maxwell found himself wondering how exactly he was going to handle all the new constant dueling between the different angry undead grass elementals. Then he thought better of it, as they had been fighting before; just now it was for a purpose. So putting the new norm out of his mind, he focused back onto his work. Which was starting on the second construction project.
The first was to make a mansion that would suit the Lord. So Maxwell thought to himself, "What would suit Lord Hidden Blue Tear?" The Lord was a being of sadness and hidden strikes. Maxwell thought on it for a moment. What kind of mansion would fit that description? Maxwell asked himself. He eventually came up with an answer after a short time of pondering the issue.
The answer was a mansion surrounded by a field of grass. As it would hide the mansion as well as the lord's hidden blue tear. Which would allow the Lord to move as hidden as he desired, which was part of who he was. So with the idea for the mansion now ready, it was time to begin building the mansion hidden in a field of grass. Which began by gathering rocks in his hands of necrotic smog once again.
Once he had enough materials gathered, he began shaping it into the necessary shape. The first thing he was creating was the stone base of the second mansion. It was just as large as the earlier mansion. Once he had it at the right size, he put it into the marked ground he had for it. With that part done, he got to working on the next step, which was the walls of the mansion.
Maxwell has decided to do them differently with this mansion. Instead of having them form a series of hallways, he was going to have them form a series of rooms with tall roofs. As Lord Hidden Blue Tear was far taller than he was long, unlike Lord Red Razor Armory, who was longer than he was tall. So Lord Hidden Blue Tears' mansion would have to be tall to allow him in.
Due to this there wouldn't be a second floor, unlike the previous mansion, just one floor with rooms that were all rather tall. Maxwell made the walls first, the outer ones, then the inner ones. Once he was done, he put the roof on and gave it one last look to make sure everything was put in right. As far as his amateur architect skill could tell, it was. So he moved onto the next part of the mansion building project.
He began gathering dead grass that had been provided by the undead butterflies and spreading it around the mansion as well as on its roof and walls. He basically put dead grass on everything and had to wait a few times as he ran out. So more had to be gathered before he could continue, though eventually he had applied enough for his needs. Now all that was left was to add the special stuff that would bring the whole project together.
So Maxwell added necrotic sad smog, filling the mansion and the surrounding area with it, causing both the mansion and the surrounding grass to change. The grass on and hanging off the mansion droops and twists, turning into semi-vines as they wrap around the building. While the dead grass around the mansion grows upwards, growing as tall as the mansion itself, with a layer of acidic tears coating their tips.
Maxwell takes a minute to take in the overgrown mansion hidden within a field of undead sad grass. He checks the mansion as well, making sure the semi-grass vines haven't damaged the building as they wrapped around it. Luckily they did not, and so with that the mansion itself was done, and Maxwell could begin on the next building project. Maxwell looked around the overgrown mansion, thinking about what the second project would be and where they would put it.
Maxwell eventually found himself feeling ridiculous as he would simply put the second project within the grass fields, as hidden was the ongoing theme of the current projects. So with the location chosen, it was time to decide what it would be. So Maxwell thought on the hidden blue tear and what would represent the Lord best. He found himself thinking of a hunting lodge.
As Lord Hidden Blue Tear, he was a being who used stealth to get close and bring an end to his enemies. It made sense to Maxwell that the building that would represent such a style would be a hunting lodge. As that would be a place where you would go to show how well you had gotten the jump on a creature or something along that line.
So with the second project decided, he got to work. Maxwell decided instead of rock as a main component, it would be twig. So he gathered twigs and dead grass from the material piles that were constantly being grown as he worked. He then began weaving the dead grass through the twigs, creating the back and side walls of the structure. Once that part was done, he planted them in the ground.
He then began the front entrance and door. Which was more complicated due to the nature of a door needing to be opened. Though he believed he was able to get everything in working order. So with the part done, he slotted the entrance into place and moved onto making the roof, which was a rather quick task, all things considered. Once it was finished, he put the roof where it was supposed to go and filled the new hunting lodge house with sad necrotic smog, bringing it into its purpose.

As it morphed and warped, becoming somehow more sturdy yet also leaning this way and that with every breeze of smog that went by. Maxwell double-checked the structure, and once again, as far as his amateur architecture skills could tell, the new hunting lodge was good to go. So now it was time for the third and final construction project. Once again Maxwell found himself having to think about what he should build next.
Then it occurred to him he should simply repeat what he did and have the third and final building be a sort of physical representation of Lord Hidden Blue Tear. Just as the armory was of Lord Red Razor Armory. So Maxwell thought on it for a moment before he wondered if he had been secretly struck recently, as he seemed to be missing the most obvious answers. As he recalled from the gaming memories, he had a few magical diamonds with "tear" in their name.
So he would simply create a vault meant to house tears that would be acidic diamonds essentially. Though he found himself a bit iffy on this idea. As his necrotic magic would have to do a lot of heavy lifting to make a construction like this work. Though as Maxwell thought about it, his necrotic magic hadn't failed him yet. So he got on with building this new vault of his.
He gives gathered rocks, and a lot of them at that, as they would be the only building material for this specific project. Luckily the smog root fists were able to provide a seemingly endless supply of rock. So he quickly gathered the required rock in hands made of necrotic smog and began shifting the rock into the right shapes.
As was his habit at this point, he first created the base, which he made rectangular. Once that part was done, he swiftly set it down and formed the back and side walls. Which took a short amount of time to create and took no time to slot into the stone foundation. With that done, it was time to work on the front door. Maxwell created a large circular doorway and then made the large circular door.
He had to cram it into place, but he got the large circular rock door to lock into place. So with the walls and door taken care of, he moved to the roof, which was easy enough—a simple form of square stone that fitted on top of the walls—and he was done. Well, at least externally, as now there were a few internal things he needed to work on with the building.
So he first created a series of small microscopic air holes within the roof. He then created grooves all along the walls. Maxwell then, as a final step for the internals, created small tear-shaped molds within the walls, which the grooves lead to. Maxwell looked at his wall art and saw nothing wrong and hoped it would all work as planned. His idea was that necrotic smog would come through the air holes and then turn to acid as it went through the grooves, finally solidifying as an acid diamond tear within the molds scattered through out the walls.
To test if the necrotic smog would go in right, he pumped necrotic sad smog through the small air holes. It went well as far as Maxwell could tell, and the building became more solid. Though the grooves and mold rearranged themselves to form sad images. So with that, the third and final building was complete, and a purple scroll appeared to show Maxwell the results of his work.
Maxwell spent a while going over everything that the purple scroll told him; in a lot of ways, it was just a repeat of what happened with Lord Red Razor Armory. In a few ways it was different, though the impact was still as great. All of a sudden there were swarms of sad undead grass elementals swarming the grass looking for both hunting lodges and greater insects to hunt.
These two hierarchies were rather interesting to Maxwell. As not only did this create a class system, which made this the first system of government effectively in his kingdom. It also created the start of a culture for his kingdom. Which made him wonder how it would go in the future and what it would all look like in a few years.
His mind heavy with thoughts Maxwell continued to consider these larger issues as the world around him continued to keep moving around him. The kingdom of necrotic smog had an energy to it that it had never had before. How it would all shape out would be anyone's guess in the end.
