He takes a step closer and glances at the elven women at the side "Did you somehow save Ilwyn?"
William takes a breath but before he could speak
Ilwyn steps between the two "Yes! he did. Ilrenair , I ask you to let him join."
He takes a step back as if he was hit by the request. "Join?"
"Yes, join. He is not like the rest of them and he can help. "
He gestures for the two next to him to escort the human.
He takes a step forward towards Ilwyn. His face expression softens slightly "I was a bit sad when they shot you. I will do something with the human but I doubt he can stay for long. Lets go! "
Minutes later they arrive at a Cave like structure , partially stone and debris held together by Flora.
"Oh is this the elder's old place? Why did we come here?" Ilwyn inquires clearly oblivious to the situation.
Ilrenair doesnt answer right away but instead pushes her forward towards a room inside which is fitted with not so old furnitures.
"Do you want some tee?" He asks and goes towards an area which can be killed a kitchen.
"Y-yes. But you didnt answer."
He actually had tee prepared, so it is served in an instant. "Yeah I didnt. So You know the elder did some pretty bad things before we were even born. Not even his mind can remember when was it exactly. He had his reasons and he is the only one remaining who remembers that era. Now our kind might be in danger , if Those captives speak the truth. " He speak slowly and calculated
"Captives? The human might be looking for them."
"I'll have a talk with the human. First I want to show you something"
He says and grabs an arrow from the quiver he left on the ground. His hand squeezes the arrow for a second and the air starts moving around in the room. Then he releases the arrows and it floats in the air with minimal movement.
"I was awakened and I am not the only one. I just thought I want to tell you this."
She feels the energy radiating from the arrows and takes it from the air. She looks down at it for a brief moment and looks up "Does that mean The Queen wants to bring back the Emerald Legion?" Her voice shakes as she pushes out the words.
"Probably yes. What happened there shouldn't happen ever again. If these people disturb our peace, we will have to take matters in our own hands. We were born to bloom and not destined to rot."
The anger that burns inside him seeps into his voice even as he tries to not show his feelings much and remain calm and collected. Emotions often cloud ones judgement, therefore he must supress them.
As the two escort William inside the city reveals itself. The houses either are made from plants bent in a way that forms a modest housing or on deeper parts there are a few weirdly shaped building made from a greenish alloy that seems oddly similar to Williams Sword.

Some of the Elves cast confused glances towards them. The Clothing makes William stand out way too much even if he looks not too different from everyone
The ground is slightly inclined. From the high ground looking down William notices the huge roots that go out from the center to the sides above the sprawling city below.
Following the direction of those roots his eyes trail up back.
A Gigantic tree, one so tall that it disappears into the clouds. Along its Thick Trunk There are Luxurious Palaces shining as the sun is reflected on their surface.
"Where are we going?"
One of the guards looks sideways "The elder has to speak with you".
A few minutes later at the bottom of the gigantic tree William is led inside an entrance.
From this viewpoint he can really see just how big this tree is, as it takes around a 100 meters to get from the bark to the inside.
In the middle an orb shaped object floats in the air but it is obscured by a veil of Green tendrils encasing it.
Even trough the physical barrier its radiating an ominous energy outwards that would make any person feel uneasy.
Upwards there are a spots of light. probably for the exits to the previously seen buildings up there.
A wooden staff hits the ground , first from further away but later from closer and closer.
William doesn't even notice what is happening as he stares in awe at the impossible Structure.
A raspy voice breaks his concentration "Ah the human. Would be so kind and follow me?"
His head turns to the only elf that doesn't have that eternal beauty and youth about their looks. His skin is greyish and darker, discoloured.
"Sure?" Williams muscles tense. This old man would be the Elder? He doesn't even look intimidating at all
The elder begins walking away straight towards a wall.
When he reaches it he murmurs Maw of the earth. It is barely audible.
They both begin falling as the ground opens beneath them.
After a short drop vines spring out and with immense speed they grab the two of them.
To William's surprise the next moment they are gently placed on the ground.
The Elder hits the ground with his staff again "Much better"
Williams heart is racing fast. I thought he's going to kill me
The elder reaches out with empty hand and soon a bulb of light makes the area visible.
A Human lies on the ground not too far from them. His shining armor now dulled and broken. His sword, if it can be called that is completely shattered.
He is battered and bloody. Unconscious but not dead.
"Wait is this... He is who I am looking for." William shouts the second part of that.
The elder smiles at his surprise "I am aware."
"Can you let him go?"
A large leaf reaches under Arthur and lifts him up. The Elder lets out a sigh of relief "I do not plan to engage in war. Neither side would benefit from it. He will be out of the forest before Sunrise."
William nods. He tightens his hand on his sword to seek sense of safety. "So, what do I have to do in order to stay here?"
The elder walks closer and puts his hand on William's shoulder "You see, we are not prepared to face humans if it comes to that conclusion. I would like to avoid it. In all cases there is ancient temple in the sands of the south. It is hidden deep but there is a way to find it."
His face expression turns sad for a moment as he prepares to speak. "When I was young... That place was home to our kind..."
He takes a large breath "If you get far enough in the desert and manage to plant the seed of life, I will be able to assist you. What you must find is a relic that we need in order to ensure we can hold up peace."
