Chapter 83: Taking a Stroll by the Sea

Chapter 83: Strolling by the Sea

"Let's go, let's take a walk somewhere else." Muzi Luo pulled my hand and walked forward, and I didn't resist him pulling my hand anymore. After all, the day would pass quickly anyway. He took me to the seaside, where the morning sun wasn't too harsh yet. The sea breeze blew against my face, bringing a gentle coolness that was very refreshing.

I took off my shoes and walked barefoot on the fine sand. I kicked the fine sand as I followed behind Mo Zhi Luo, he turned around to look at me, his eyes were fixed on me, a bit dazed, I waved my hand in front of his eyes, only then did he react. He chuckled and said: "Be careful not to get poked by sharp objects."

I nodded and squatted down to play with the sand. Mo Ziluo also followed me and squatted down, saying to me: "Do you want to see a castle made of sand?" I looked up at him and asked back: "Can you do it?" It feels like a high difficulty level, I've tried many times but failed...

He just smiled and didn't say a word, he lowered his head and started building a "castle" in front of me. As he played, he reminisced: "In the past, I also did this..." I quietly watched his masterpiece. About half an hour later, he had built a "castle". I felt that this scene was quite familiar, just like I had experienced it before, but couldn't remember.

"I didn't think you'd be good at building sandcastles, but it looks really nice." I said with a smile as the sea breeze blew across our faces. I felt comfortable looking up at the blue sky and out at the vast blue ocean, my heart gradually calming down. Suddenly, I turned to ask Mo Zhi Luo: "You wouldn't have fallen in love with me at first sight, would you?" But after saying that, I felt strange and was about to add something when I heard Mo Zhi Luo say: "You could say that."

He looked at me with a profound meaning, and I felt nervous as he kept looking at me. I hastily changed the subject: "Let's take a walk around..." He nodded, and I walked along the beach with him, the seawater overflowing our feet, splashing up beautiful waves.

I walked and stretched out my hand to grab my necklace, Mu Ziluo suddenly laughed and said: "Now we're walking like this, I feel like we're walking the path of a lifetime..." I glared at him: "You're not bored or anything."

"It's not boring, after all I can walk with you." Mo Ziluo said seriously.

I kicked the sand, and I accidentally pulled the necklace off my neck with a bit of force. The necklace was very small, it slipped from my hand, and I couldn't help but shout: "Damn!" Luckily, the seawater didn't wash it away, I squatted down and grabbed the necklace, and I finally breathed a sigh of relief. Mo Zhi Luo took the necklace from my hand, and I immediately stretched out my hand in front of him: "Give it back to me."

Mozzie looked down at the necklace, actually the most eye-catching part of the necklace was its small frame, which contained a photo.

  "Qing... Qing..." He muttered absent-mindedly.

I took the opportunity to snatch the necklace back from his hand and held it against my chest. Muzi Luo was stunned for a moment, then returned to normal, his mouth curled up with a faint smile, but I had an illusion that this smile carried a hint of bitterness.

"Qingqing, you have many necklaces, but this one must be your most precious, right?" he said.

"I'm going home." I refused to answer his question, fortunately he didn't force it, he nodded and put his coat over my shoulders.
