Epilogue
Every part of her body ached.
From the tips of her toes to what she could swear was every strand of her hair.
And for a couple of seconds that seemed eternal, the pain she felt was far worse than the torture she received at Seth's hands.
But after a while the pain finally began to subside, numbing her body, along with her senses.
What the hell had happened? Instinctively she tried to reach into her mind for the thread of the soul-binding contract that connected her to Tsuki.
But, trying to access her mind felt like entering a swamp filled with thick wet clay that reached higher than her knees.
What the hell? She panicked.

By the time she managed to open her eyes the intense sunlight burned her retinas, instinctively she tried to roll over but the pain only worsened with the small movement.
Spreading again all over her body. But exploding violently from the bottom.
So she had to stay on her back again, gasping for breath as she clenched her jaw tightly and waited for it to subside.
Come on, Kalysto, focus! She scolded herself as she felt the familiar coldness envelop her body, numbing her emotions.
Only then did she open her eyes again to find a clear aquamarine sky. And high in the sky the soft figure of two full moons, one larger than the other, decorating the daytime celestial vault.
I'm sure it was practically night just a second ago. She reflected as the soft chirping of birds sounded in the distance, then turned into a thick silence as she blinked a couple of times trying to get used to the strong light filtering through the fingers of her right hand.
The sudden sound of a doorbell echoed in her head, making her jump at the unexpected action as two notification windows appeared before her, one blue and one purple.
Her eyes teared up at the memory of this scene as she lowered her hand, knowing what it meant.
The blue window said:
[Welcome to Elinor!]
The violet one, on the other hand, said:
[Welcome to Elinor, hero!]
Well guys this is the end of book 3. I hope you enjoyed reading it much more than I enjoyed doing it.
The next book will have a bit more revenge focused theme as you might have guessed. (We have a Mhiralla to hunt.).
If you want to know what's going on and don't want to wait a couple of weeks, you can subscribe to my Patreon, I'll only be taking a week off there, but it will take a little longer to get back here as there are a few things I want to polish before I release it.
It has been a 'long' road to get here, and I appreciate the time you have taken to walk it with me.
I thank you for all the support you have given me so far and will continue to give me in the future, and for all your patience.
I will love to read your comments, either about these last chapters or about the whole book 3 in general.
Again thank you very much for all your support.
See you later.
