Chapter 1: Crossing Over

Chapter 1: Crossing Over Seeking Collection

A sunbeam crept up along Tang Jie's legs, over his chest, and onto his face, tickling his eyelids.

Tang Jie rubbed his eyes dazedly, turned over and wanted to continue sleeping, but after a while, he suddenly woke up from his daze, abruptly opened his eyes, sprang up from the ground like a spring, and vigilantly looked around.

Due to the excessive movement, and being completely soaked, it was as if he had been submerged in water for a long time. The skin on his fingertips was slightly wrinkled. Tang Jie felt that not only was his head throbbing dully, but also his temples were like they had been kicked by a fierce horse, jumping wildly with intense pain.

His body ached unbearably, as if he had been hit by an express train and was about to fall apart at any moment.

Tang Jie looked around and found himself in a wooden house of about ten square meters. The walls, which were a dull yellow color, were adorned with bloody axes, iron hooks, and other weapons. In the corner of the room, there was a wooden table with numerous gashes and bloodstains on it. A faint smell of blood filled the air inside the room.

  Where is this place?

How did I end up here?

Tang Jie was dazed and confused, trying his best to recall his last thread of memory.

But his brain seemed to be stuffed with a lump of paste, and I vaguely remembered being hit by a car?

  Am I already dead?

Tang Jie felt a chill in his heart, pinched his own face, and took a cold breath.

It hurts so much, didn't I die?

Why am I here if I didn't die?

A thought flashed through Tang Jie's mind unconsciously: Could it be that I've been kidnapped?

He looked around nervously, the room was dark and gloomy, with only a sliver of dazzling sunlight coming in through the window, which made the room even more eerie.

In this room, Tang Jie could feel that the wooden floor under his feet was swaying restlessly, as if he were on a boat.

He scratched his head: "My dad and mom's salary combined is not even over 5,000 a month, which idiot kidnapper would kidnap me? Has my brain been kicked by a donkey? Isn't this like borrowing a comb from a bald donkey, finding the wrong target?"

Ruling out the possibility of being kidnapped, Tang Jie began to think wildly: "Could it be that I was sold as a piglet?"

He was lost in thought when he suddenly heard a loud crash, and a tall man kicked open the door, walked in with a beer belly, saw him at a glance, and shouted loudly: "The person we picked up, he woke up! How did he wake up?"

A small, thin man poked his head out from behind the round belly of beer and said in a shrill voice: "How do I know? But what does it matter that he's awake?"

Tang Jie stared at the two men in front of him, and he was stunned.

This fat man, as stout as a beer barrel, had a head of hair that was as messy as a bird's nest. His face was black and seemed to have never been washed since birth. He wore a pair of suspenders with long trousers, inside which was a white short-sleeved shirt, and over the shirt was a brown jacket that looked like it had been robbed from someone else.

Even from a distance, Tang Jie could smell the sour stench emanating from this man. The clothes he had snatched were tattered with several large holes, and it was unclear when they had last been washed. They hung on him like a piece of dried seaweed, lacking vitality.

The short and thin man standing behind the beer barrel was dressed similarly to the beer barrel, with a small head, a face that looked like a groundhog turned into a human, and a pair of eyes that shone brightly, his black bean-like eyes rolling around restlessly in their sockets.

These two people's attire, combined with their ferocious faces, looked absolutely unkind.

  Who are these two people?

  What's with this getup?

Like a sloppy pirate in a Hollywood movie?

  Are they cosplaying?

Suddenly, an idea flashed through his mind, and his heart began pounding violently.

It can't be, I've crossed over?

Tang Jie's face was extremely colorful, his eyes twitched slightly, and a smile was squeezed out: "Hey, how are you? Would you mind telling me where this is?"

The beer barrel and the thin mast stared at each other for a moment, then each picked up a barrel and poured it towards Tang Jie!

"With a splash", Tang Jie didn't even have time to dodge, a bucket of icy seawater drenched him to the bone, although he was already soaked.

He splashed a handful of water on his face, spat out a few mouthfuls: "OK, I didn't ask this question! But why did you put salt in the water? Ugh, ugh, it's killing me!"

The beer barrel burst out laughing: "This is just right, saves me from adding salt when I roast it later!"

Tang Jie couldn't quite tell where he was, and the two guys in front of him had a face full of brawn, with a Sonny Chiba-like expression. As the saying goes, "a strong dragon doesn't oppress the local snake", Tang Jie saw the beer barrel and burst out laughing, and followed up with a joke: "Are you guys going to have a barbecue? Can you spare me some? Just in time, I'm a bit hungry."

The beer barrel and the thin mast stared at each other, suddenly bursting into crazy laughter: "How interesting, really interesting! This guy is quite humorous!"

Tang Jie watched as these two guys laughed so hard they were doubled over, but he himself was completely baffled, only stupidly following along with their laughter.

Three people suddenly laughed and took out a wide-bladed dagger from behind their back, the cold blade flashing in front of Tang Jie's eyes.

The beer barrel scraped its thumb with a scraper and laughed: "You're really interesting, I'm a bit reluctant to part with you!"

Tang Jie didn't catch the underlying meaning of his words at all, and he chuckled: "Really? My friends all say that about me. Right, my name is..."

He hadn't finished speaking when he saw Beer Barrel suddenly slash a knife towards his neck!

This sword, with a burst of wind sound, is extremely sharp!

If it weren't for Tang Jie's many years of martial arts training, and his fondness for fighting since he was young, this knife would have taken his life!

He was shocked in his heart, without thinking, suddenly bent down, an iron plate bridge, this knife stuck to his nose and passed by, the cold blade scraped his back, making his hairs stand on end, and he was covered in cold sweat!

Tang Jie took advantage of Tie Banqiao's movement and fell backwards, doing a somersault on the ground, rolling back several feet before standing up again. He said angrily and in shock: "What are you doing?"

The beer barrel didn't expect that the guy in front of him would dodge the previous knife, he was stunned for a moment, grinned and showed his yellow teeth: "Stop struggling, if I don't kill you, where can I get roasted meat to eat? Damn it, even on this sea, not a single bird can be caught, my mouth is so dry that it's about to smoke!"

Tang Chuan was shocked, these two guys were actually cannibals!

He twitched the corner of his eye and nodded at his own nose, saying in a hoarse voice: "The barbecue you mentioned earlier, was it referring to me?"

The thin mast took out a fine net from his bosom and chuckled: "Of course! You are the first person we've met who wants to eat his own flesh, I will remember you, interesting guy!"

Tang Jie looked at the two men, one with a skinny pole and the other with a beer belly, standing on either side of him, blocking his escape route. They approached him in a pincer movement, and he couldn't help but curse inwardly.

Why is it that when others travel through time and space, they get to enjoy good food and drink, but when I do, I become someone else's meal?

However, waiting for death is not Tang Jie's style. He has been fighting since he was a child and has won many awards in national martial arts competitions. He has experienced various battles and fights, and his experience is quite rich.

  Fight?

  Who's afraid of who?

Tang Jie took a deep breath, his body slightly crouched, his feet slightly bent, his toes touching the ground, his center of gravity pressed extremely low, his back slightly arched, and his whole person looked like a lion that would jump up at any moment, glaring fiercely at the two people in front of him.

He suddenly moved his body, and the whole person seemed to be retreating backwards quickly, which also caused the thin mast pole and beer belly to unconsciously quicken their pace. Then he suddenly retreated and turned forward, his entire body curled up into a ball, his toes exerting force, like a cannonball, in an instant passing through the gap between the two people!

The beer barrel and the thin mast only felt a flash in front of their eyes, and the objects in their hands involuntarily beckoned to the figure that had just passed by.

Tang Jie walked through the middle of them, turned his head back and saw that a net was covering the beer barrel. The thin mast was shouting at the beer barrel: "Bastard, you aimed accurately! You almost chopped me!"

The beer barrel shouted in a loud voice: "Idiot, quickly take away this broken net of yours! He's going to run!"

Tang Jie smiled slightly, just now when he passed by the two people, there were several opportunities to make a move and severely injure them, but Tang Jie didn't, because he wasn't sure where he was or what kind of environment he was in.

Tang Jie, although he was only a martial arts student for many years before crossing over, this does not mean that he is someone who likes to rely solely on brute force. In situations where he is not confident, he does not like to take things to the extreme.

Tang Jie pushed open the door and escaped from this room, but saw four men with rough faces and sinister expressions walking down the corridor of the cabin.

The four of them saw him and were momentarily stunned, standing in place staring blankly at him.

Tang Jie secretly cursed in his heart, smiled on his face and gave a greeting: "Hi!"

He had just managed to squeeze out a smile when he heard the loud voice of the beer barrel coming from the cabin: "Quick, quick, catch him!"

Tang Jie cursed under his breath and turned around to run away!

The men behind him came back to his senses, shouted in unison, and followed Tang Jie's footsteps.

Tang Jie had just taken one glance and discovered that these four guys were muscular, robust, and covered in scars all over their bodies. Obviously, they were skilled fighters. In such a narrow space, and on a boat that was rocking back and forth, PKing with them was absolutely not a good idea!

So he didn't even look back, and was chased to run all over the cabin. He ran and bumped into the doors of the cabin, but unfortunately most of them were closed tightly, and there was nowhere to hide.

Damn it! Open the fan for me so I can take cover!!

Tang Jie cursed loudly in his heart, and suddenly his shoulder bumped into a door, which unexpectedly opened. He stumbled forward and rushed inside!

On the boat, it was hard to control his center of gravity, and even someone as solid in their horse stance as Tang Jie wasn't an exception. He stumbled forward a few steps before he managed to stop himself.

He had just stood firm, and immediately rushed to the door, locked the door bolt well, then saw a wooden table next to him with one eye. He dragged the wooden table with both hands, making a sharp noise, and pulled the wooden table to the door as an obstacle to block the door.

Tang Jie patted his hands and secretly let out a sigh of relief: "Good grief, where am I exactly?"

He wiped the sweat from his forehead and turned back to look.

He was taken aback and stood frozen on the spot, his eyes bulging, his Adam's apple rolling, and he couldn't utter a word for half a day.

All he saw was that in this room, a long-haired woman stood in the middle of the room, wearing only her top half, holding a strip of white cloth wrapped around her chest, staring at him with the same stunned expression.

A sliver of golden sunlight came in through the small window on one side of the room, like a spotlight on stage, shining directly on this woman's body, illuminating her sensual wheat-colored skin, making her look like a top-notch sculpture crafted by a master sculptor, with every curve and line on her body clear and distinct, layered and refined. Her slender figure seemed to have an inexplicable charm that was mesmerizing.

Tang Jie and the woman stared at each other, both with expressions as if they had seen a ghost, neither of them able to utter a word.

The entire room fell silent, and even the people behind Tang Jie stopped pursuing him after he burst into this room.

This awkward and ambiguous silence made Tang Jie feel as if a rose had quietly bloomed in front of him, its fragrance wafting gently.

What this woman looked like, Tang Jie didn't take a closer look, his eyes only had the woman's firm and flat lower abdomen, and her towering and upright chest, as well as her wheat-colored skin, this beautifully lined body in front of him and in his mind swayed gently, shaking back and forth, until he was dizzy and infatuated.

Such a situation is indeed somewhat unexpectedly romantic.

Unfortunately, what happened next made Tang Jie feel not romantic at all.

Tang Jie could clearly feel that every time his gaze lingered on her for a second longer, the woman's killing intent would increase by another degree.

This murderous aura was like a substance, making Tang Jie feel as if he had needles on his back. Cold sweat rolled down from his forehead, and his Adam's apple rolled once before he spoke in a hoarse voice: "I... I walked into the wrong room, I'll leave now!"

He was afraid that the woman would stab him in the back, so he retreated to the door, carefully and with a forced smile, pushed the table back to its original position, then smiled awkwardly again, opened the door latch, and prepared to leave.

Just as he turned around and was about to leave, he suddenly heard a strong gust of wind coming from behind his head.

He tilted his head to one side.

  A loud "Dong" sound!

A dagger was nailed to the door, swaying back and forth with a humming sound.

Tang Jie was startled and turned back with a forced smile: "Very accurate..."

"Not even close, I didn't throw it in!" The woman had already recovered from the shock and embarrassment of just now. She coldly swept Tang Jie with a glance, as if he didn't exist, then wrapped her ** tightly with a long white cloth, and flipped back her golden long hair.

At that moment, her golden hair cascaded down like a waterfall, with each strand of fine silk dancing in the sunlight streaming through the window, refracting an extremely beautiful glow. Tang Jie felt that this woman's beauty suddenly filled the entire room, beyond compare!

The woman's chest was tightly wrapped in a white cloth, wrapping her towering breasts into a vast expanse of white hills. The tight and airtight texture between the white cloth and skin made Tang Jie feel that such breast binding was indeed an act of wasting one's natural endowments.

The woman walked to the wall of the room, pulled out a long sword inserted in the inner side of the shield, and made several gestures with great elegance. She said faintly: "My father taught me that if you want to be a great pirate king, you must have a broad mind like the sea. So..."

Tang Jie was overjoyed: "Yes, yes, so be it, this won't set a precedent, this won't set a precedent!"

The woman raised her eyelids, seemingly not having heard Tang Jie's words: "So, I follow my father's teachings. Do you want to keep your left eye or right eye?"

As soon as she finished speaking, a strong and intimidating aura emanated from the woman's body, causing Tang Jie's smile to freeze on his face!

Tang Jie could sense from the expression on this woman's face that she was absolutely not joking, and her familiar pose of wielding a long sword showed that she was a woman who had experienced battle and seen blood!

  Who is she after all?

What the hell is this place!
