Chapter 1: Reincarnated

  I woke up in a mysterious place. I did not body, just a conscious, unbeknownst of my own identity. I looked around to see if there's anything that worth my interest, but there were only darkness and void. Suddenly, an orb of light pops up, out of nowhere.

  I reached out to the mysterious light ball, as I touch the light, a sudden message appeared:

  It seemed like I really died. Damn, I wanted to live for a few more years, Where I came from is fucking boring anyway, Without hesitance, I chose [Yes].

  My vision began to blackout. After quite sometime, I have regained my vision, but everything was still somewhat blurry, I noticed that I now have a body. There was a figure that was looking at me, as my vision was getting clear, I noticed that the figure was a monkey.

  What.

  In.

  The.

  Actual.

  Fuck.

  I thought I’d be reborn as a cool elf-like badass in the light novels or something but a fucking monkey? And a red bellied one? Whatever that fucking means… I scurried over to a nearby river and look at my reflection, and boy, am I ugly. I resemble a capuchin monkey but with a silver and red stomach.

  If I’m a monkey, I should be able to do monkey things? With this idea, I tried to climb a tree seeing there was some fruit on top. I easily climbed the tree with my new monkey feet, I finally started get the grip of things and slowly go up.

  Woh, this shit’s like an MMO.

  “ACTIVATE CLIMB!!” I yelled out.

  Nothing happened.

  “OPEN SKILL MENU!” I yelled out, again.

  This was getting frustrating.

  “Open stats, please?” I said in a polite tone of voice.

  A screen appeared.

  I sat down on a branch, and stared at the screen that popped up.

  The stats seemed really bad in my opinion, but I was surprised that the system responded to me, as if it has mind of its own.

  “Is this system alive..?” I asked myself

  “What the..? You can read my thoughts? Yo, dude can you help me out??”

  Ah, damn. Not this shit again.

  “….Sorry, I couldn't tell your gender by reading your feminine ‘words’ ”

  AH! THAT HURT!

  “What was that for?”

  “Hmm? What do you mean?”

  “Reports?”

  The system did not reply, I guess I should ask ‘her’ what she meant about that reports she mentioned earlier later on.

  In case you are wondering how a baby monkey like me could talk and move around without any trouble. It is because aging as a monkey of this race is really fast, the moment I was born, I already had the ability of that of the 8 years old in my own world.

  Out of nowhere, a giant monkey came up to me, with his harem following him. He was larger than other monkeys I’ve seen, It seemed like he’s an alpha. He looked at me douchebag with a expression, and then he whipped his tail and pushed me out off the tree.
