of course, when the dungeons appeared, many kingdoms raced to clear them and use them for war but all they did was aggravate the dungeons and the even more mysterious dungeon masters who controlled these mysterious places, leading to the destruction of these foolish kingdoms.
seeing this the strongest seven kingdoms at the time made an alliance with the seven most powerful dungeon masters and through a mutual agreement formed a new power
The dungeon exploration committee
this committee allowed it’s members, now called dungeon raiders to explore the dungeons and steal its loot in exchange for not overhunting the dungeons, monsters and using its weapons and materials in war, the dungeons were also coined neutral territory in which all are treated equal and will not intervene in wars on the outside
afterwards, the dungeon masters disappeared, entering the deepest depths of their respective dungeons, never to be seen again
Since then it’s been over 100 000 years and countless dungeons have formed, some rising, some falling, and the information about dungeon masters and the ancient pact disappearing into nothing but myth
