Chapter 27: Begin Preparations

  Chapter 27 starts deployment

  Chapter 27

The medical staff then raised three fingers and asked: "How many fingers am I holding up now?"

  "Three Roots."

"Alright." The medical staff turned off the flashlight and then asked: "Tell me your name."

  "I...I don't know."

"He's fine, just lost his memory, like that woman."

The identity of this man who came to from a coma has become another mystery on this train.

But Lin Chen, who was familiar with the plot, knew clearly that this man was the male lead and tragic villain who would bring about a huge turn in the plot: Sibans!

He can be said to be the source of this series of events, a business spy, who promoted the development of the entire movie, even the series of movies!

It's no exaggeration to say he is the male lead!

The train slowed down gradually after running for a while and finally came to a stop.

The mercenaries stood at attention, jumping out of the train in batches, holding guns and patrolling beside the train.

After confirming that there was no danger, he waved his hand towards the back, and the mercenaries carrying guns went forward. Two team members carried a box in the middle, while Lin Chen and Ailisi followed behind, walking slowly down a flight of stairs towards the end of this underground passageway that seemed to be a storage warehouse...

  "Open that door."

The black captain waved his hand and the three mercenaries behind him ran a few steps quickly, went up the stairs, took out their tools from their backpacks, and prepared to break in violently.

Lin Xun knew that Hong Hou had already discovered their group and estimated the combat value of each member, setting up a series of deadly traps to await the mercenaries.

"Listen, I want to know who you are and what's going on here."

Alice walked up beside the black captain with her arms crossed.

Although Lin Chen is the highest commander, through observations along the way and the attitude of the mercenaries, Alice has determined that Matthew is the leader of this team, and Lin Chen is just a decoration.

Captain Matthew stared unblinkingly at the mercenaries' violent door-breaking work on the stairs, not even looking at Alice, and ignoring her words.

In stark contrast to the attitude of keeping a close eye on it all along.

Alice grabbed Matthew's arm with a loud noise, apparently using great force. Matthew turned his head in surprise, his eyes fiercely staring at Alice.

Alice stared back at him without showing any weakness, her face serious as she said, "Now!"

Matthew and Alice locked eyes for a few seconds before he took a deep breath and said:

"You and I are employed by the same boss, we both work for the Umbrella Corporation. The building above us is an emergency entrance to the Hive. And you two, are security guards guarding the entrance."

Alice took off the ring from her finger and asked: "What is this?"

"Your marriage is a sham, just a cover-up to keep the Hive's secrets safe."

"What is a hive?" asked Thibault and Alice in unison.

Lin Chen paddled attentively, this section of the road was basically safe, and he was relatively relaxed, only needing to divert some attention to notice those blind spots that the mercenaries couldn't think of or notice, searching for hidden dangers.

Matthew beckoned to the side and ran over, saying "Let them take a look."

A not very tall but relatively handsome computer expert, Karanpur, walked over, pulled out a laptop, and with both hands rapidly typing on the keyboard said: "This is the entrance diagram of the beehive."

After finishing speaking, she moved her laptop and changed the angle, which happened to allow Alice and Stephens to see.

"As the images on the screen move, Matthew explains in detail: 'Raccoon City, the nearest city center. This is where we found your mansion. Through the underground passage of your mansion, we entered the train, and then the train brought us to the Hive.'"

"The beehive itself is underground, deep beneath the surface of the city streets of Raccoon."

"A highly classified research facility owned and operated by the Umbrella Corporation, with over 500 technicians, scientists, and support personnel living and working within the hive. Their research is extremely important, of a confidential nature."

At this time, the screen switched to a hall with more than a dozen red dots flashing on it. Matthew pointed at the red dots on the screen and said: "This is us. Our location on the map is shown by hotspots."

A loud "clang" sound, the control system on the iron gate was welded off, and Le removed the protective cover she was wearing.

  "Why can't I remember anything?"

Sibans turned his head from under the stairs and looked at Matthew.

Lin Xun was thinking in his heart, whether he should find an opportunity to quietly get rid of this potential troublemaker...

"The beehive has its own defense mechanism, all controlled by computer. The house released a neurotoxin gas. The main effect of the toxin is: inhalation causes complete unconsciousness for four hours, secondary effects vary but include severe memory loss."

Matthew replied, and Alice's mind flashed back to the scene just before she fainted!

  "How long?"

  Si Bansi asked.

Matthew said: "It depends on the person. One hour, one day, one week, are all possible."

"So you're saying this place was attacked?" Matt asked.

"Probably more complicated than that," Matthew said quietly.

  "Sir, we've breached the hive."

  "Go!"

Matthew, gun in hand, was the first to arrive at the iron gate.

"Wait a minute, copy out the detailed structure diagram of the beehive, including the water and electricity pipe tunnels!"

Lin Chen suddenly grabbed one of Kalanpu's arms and said with a slightly serious expression.

  "What?"

Kalamp looked at Lin Chen with a puzzled expression, unable to understand.

"I said, copy a detailed diagram of the hive structure, got it?"

  "What's wrong?"

Matthew walked over, his face a little blackened, of course, because he was black, so it wasn't noticeable.

"He insisted that I copy a useless beehive structure diagram..."

Kalanpur innocently told Matthew that he absolutely did not intentionally delay the progress of the entire team.

  "Do as he says."

Matthew looked at Lin Chen deeply and agreed to his request, perhaps for fear of wasting time.

  "While walking, copy."

Before walking away, Matthew added one more sentence.

  "Hiss!"

The iron gate slowly rose, and inside was a piece of darkness.

Matthew held his gun and took a look inside, then turned to one of the mercenaries beside him and said, "Jedi."

Jedi La took another step forward with the night vision mirror, nodded, and walked in without any hesitation.

In no time, Jady shouted towards the door: "OK, no problem."

Along with his cries, the lights on the rooftop began to light up one by one, depicting some scenes of the ground, vivid and lifelike, even making people feel as if they were basking in the warm sunlight!

Matthew walked in with other mercenaries.

The medical staff in military uniform holding an air composition detector fiddled with it for a while and said, "The toxic components have dissipated."

At this point, all the mercenaries relaxed and began to move around and inspect their surroundings.

Matt walked up to the window and gazed out into the distance, saying: "Underground work should be easier, I suppose there's something to see."

Lai turned her head and glanced at Mate, looking like she wanted to use violence again. Alice also looked at Mate with a puzzled expression, but didn't say anything.

  "Hiss!"

The elevator doors were pried open by two mercenaries, and in that instant Matthew tensely held his gun aimed inside.

But the elevator they imagined did not appear, inside, there was only a deep darkness.

Jade pulled out a burning stick-like thing, pulled it, and then threw it into the elevator shaft in front of Lin Chen.

This cold fire illuminating burning stick fell from the elevator passage and finally hit the elevator that was coming back.

"It seems we have to take the stairs."

Matthew nodded and said, "Everyone follow me, we're going down the stairs!"

The stairs were brightly lit, the mercenaries led the way, with Alice, Sibans, Matt and Lintian following closely behind in an orderly manner as they advanced underground.

Lin Xun's physical strength had been enhanced and there was no distance assassination restriction, so he easily caught up.
