Quick update for everyone. I didn’t make any progress on the rewrite this past week, and it’s very likely I won’t make much progress in the coming week either. The reason is entirely real-life related. I’m in the middle of moving from Macon, GA to Atlanta, GA to join my family for the next couple of months before my wife, child, and I fly to Germany in mid-April. The move to Atlanta is happening this Saturday, so the past few days have been consumed by packing up clothes, personal belongings, and generally getting everything in order.
Once I’m settled in Atlanta, progress on the rewrite will resume. This is a temporary slowdown, not a stop.
I also want to apologize for not posting an update yesterday as I had originally intended. Things got hectic faster than expected. That said, I want to be very clear: I am still fully committed to this story and have absolutely no intention of abandoning it. I truly appreciate everyone’s patience while I navigate this transition.

I’m excited and, admittedly, a little nervous about the upcoming move to Germany on April 14th. There’s a lot happening all at once, and while I know this rewrite is necessary and I don’t regret the decision to do it, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit frustrated with how long the process is taking. I’m eager to finish it and get back to actively building the story and pushing it forward again.
Thank you all again for sticking with me through this. I’m very much looking forward to getting through this busy stretch and diving back into the rewrite with more consistency soon.
I will post the next update on Monday February 9th. As stated, I will not be making any progress this week, so there will be nothing new to share on Monday the 2nd of February. See you all then!
