Days have passed since the meeting and the conversation with Joy . The world has come to know the change of strategy : protests ensue , mass migration occurs, and the economy has crashed since the start of the monster 's rampage. The situation has taken another hit. However, with the cold cynicism of the world 's leaders and the use of media, the global stance has become one of acceptance- this is a sacrifice that must be made. It is simply something that cannot be stopped, that cannot be changed. That is the phrase they tell themselves to sleep at night . The future will condemn their actions, but at least there will be a future. As the retionship between Goji and Joy has evolved into something akin to friendship after the speech Joy gave, they are now being deployed to Los Amos National Laboratory to help with the evacuation of scientific personnel , monster specimens, and the people who still remain nearby. They must defend the regional airport of Santa Fe as the st refuge for all that they can protect .

  On the military pne, Goji is seated beside Joy, her pets left in their apartment in the care of a hotel worker, with a subtle threat if anything happens to them.

  -So, Joy? Do you know what we are evacuating specifically ? I'm kind of tired of the ambiguous reports from HQ *Goji says as she stops eating her can of tuna*

  -Well, they only deployed you and me from the Hunter branch. The rest are military personnel, so in theory, all the important things should have already been taken out. We should be transporting research material , some scientists who were left in the instaltions , the security personnel that remained, and civilians who haven't moved yet . At most, we might be moving some corpses of monsters...

  -Easy, I suppose . Do we expect monsters to reach us before we evacuate everything?

  -Not really . The satellites captured the Hollow Armors and their army moving toward the Florida defense line and the capital, but some smaller armies are heading west to presumably take control of the Great Pins and eliminate any remaining forces. However, they are still too far away . Though they keep increasing their numbers, which is worrisome. The leading theory is that the monsters made some sort of sacrifice, and new gates of the same type they came through have opened, or an already existing gate is enrging. We think that's what they tried to do in Hawaii when you killed the Balrog ...

  -Hm, so ... we cannot outlive them?

  -It seems we can't. *The two of them remain silent once again as Goji opens her blue panel, re-reading her titles and abilities. After a while on the pne, a question occurs to her, and she looks at Joy again.*

  -Joy? Can you tell me about your abilities?

  -What? That's ... a pretty valid question . What do you want to know? *Joy responds calmly to the personal question.*

  -Everything? How many titles do you have, abilities, traits- that type of thing. You are like my escort and unofficial teammate , right ? Shouldn't I know what you are good at ?

  -Okay, okay... the tech team discovered how to show your own personal panel to others , though I can modify what you can see.

  -Okay, that's good for me . Show me.

  With a final sigh, Joy maneuvers through her own blue panel, and with a bit of tinkering on Goji's panel, a new notification arises . She quickly presses it , and a summary simir to her own appears on the panel.

  - User: [Redacted] Joy

  - Species: Human - Morals: Lawful Neutral - Titles: Squad Leader , Pioneer Hunter, Communication Officer, Pioneer Sorcerer, Soldier. - Abilities: Neutral Face, Manipution of Mana, Spellbook - Traits: Increased focus, mental capacity and quickness, increased motor skills.

  As Goji reads through the tab in her own blue panel, she comes to a conclusion : she has too many titles, abilities, and other things compared to Joy. And if Joy is a Squad Leader, she can only assume this is why the world is losing. The blue panel, the powers they have been given-these humans are too new , too unrefined to really amount to something significant . Now, in theory, with more battle experience and training, the personnel, specifically the hunters , can become something stronger, hopefully something that can defend themselves. As Joy said, they cannot win a battle of attrition against the monsters.

  -So, Goji ? What do you think?

  -What do I think? Well... when are you going to give me your real name? *At this, and without even stopping to think, Joy says,*

  -Never . Next question.

  -Okay... that was quick . Then what is that ability SpellBook ?

  With a simple look at her own tab, Joy starts answering with a great amount of detail that tests Goji's capacity to learn. In the most concise answer, the ability SpellBook is a book that contains the spells Joy knows but is inside her head - easy, right ? But the problem was that from that expnation , Joy began detailing all the spells she knows : a simple fireball weaker than those the volcanic soldiers of Hawaii had thrown at Goji, a ray of ice, an ice shard, a cloud of daggers, an acid ball, telekinesis- that was the first spell she learned- and many others . Nothing too fshy, nothing too potent, but the quantity of spells she has come to know makes Joy an exceptional hunter in any terrain or situation. The only problem is the low damage power, which Goji thinks is why she was paired with Joy. Besides that, she has come to know her on the ship.

  The talk continues with Joy expining the different types of spells she has learned from exchanges of information with other countries and how, in specific countries , enemies and environmental elements have come to be the most used. For example, in Siberia, Russian spellcasters have come to use fire against the enemies from the gates, as these monsters are primarily made of ice. In the Balkans, their spellcasters prefer light spells against the enemies there . A pause in the conversation ensures that the speaker on the cargo pne they are in is activated.

  -All military personnel, be prepared. We are getting near the nding zone . Orders are: first, secure the zone and create a perimeter against any threats. Then , send teams to evacuate any citizens nearby . The team from the boratory will arrive with all research, items, and personnel in two to four hours. Be quick, be precise , be secure . Good luck. With that announcement , Goji, Joy, and the military team inside the pne started checking their things one st time as they could see the ground getting nearer and nearer...
