Po’s POV
Our friend Austin had gone to sleep with Cha inside the Lab, and the rest of us cuddled up to sleep. Even Taco and Tremor have become our friends and sleep with us now. Today was a lot of fun, and we got to have another battle! Rapunzel and I managed to win with ease, but Cha lost to his counter. Is that what Austin called it? He tried to explain to us when training that there are Pokémon that each of us will have a hard time battling against. He said I would struggle against Fighting Type Energy, and I might need to learn to fight from a distance using my tongue as a whip. Rapunzel has been teaching me to use my tongue like a vine which has been fun to practice. I better go to sleep as soon as possible so we can have fun again tomorrow.
Right as I started to close my eyes, Tremor started to groan. Taco popped his head up and he started hissing and ratteling his tail aimed at the shadows. “Tremor and Taco, what is it?” I asked them. “Bad people back!” Taco said. “No friends!” Tremor said groaning again . “Rapunzel, do you see anything?” I asked her. “No Po, I don’t see anything, but I do smell new smells that aren’t usually here” Rapunzel said nervously. “I think we should prepare in case whatever it is gets closer” I said using Defense Curl. Tremor used Harden making himself even tougher, Rapunzel used Growth, and Taco used Glare and started looking around. All of a sudden, something collapsed out of view. “Taco got something!” I said pointing out into the dark. “Taco keep it up!” I said. “Taco no let them hurt friends!” Taco hissed as his eyes turned red again. “Can anyone make light so we can see?” I asked the group. “Tremor make purple light” Tremor said standing up tall. Tremor’s mouth started glowing purple and we could see static shooting off the purple light. As Tremor was preparing to shoot his purple breath, another something collapsed in the dark. When Tremor let loose the purple breath, the atmosphere changed and all of a sudden I felt fear and couldn’t move. Whatever energy Tremor was using was scary and new. The purple cloud of static was spreading out and we could make out something or someone moving around. When the breath touched them though, they collapsed. Now that Taco could see better he started to stare directly at whatever was running away from Tremor’s attack. All of the things in the shadows kept collapsing all around us.
Taco and Tremor kept it up till we couldn’t see anything or anyone moving anymore. “Rapunzel, can you use your vines to feel out and grab whatever fell down?” I asked. “Of course Po, it should be very easy” Rapunzel said stretching her vines out in every direction. “Taco and Tremor, I am very proud of both of you. I will make sure you both get extra treats from Austin tomorrow!” I said patting both of our young team members on their heads. “Extra eggs for Taco?” Taco asked. “Yes, extra eggs for Taco” I said nodding. “Tremor you let me know what you want” I said up to our giant steel tower. “Tremor wants to try new rocks please” he said nodding his giant head excitedly. “I got something!” Rapunzel said looking shocked. She started pulling her vines in and we could see humans wearing all black. “Oh, it is the bad people again! Taco and Tremor were right!” I said pointing at the knocked out bodies. One of the bodies in the shadows all of sudden popped up and ran away. “Oh looks like one of them got away” I said. “I am going to get Austin right away” I said jogging towards the door he uses to come outside.

Austin’s POV
In the pitch black, all of a sudden, I could hear very loud knocking. I popped up quickly and went to see what the noise was. At the side door was standing Po, and he was knocking very politely but loudly. “Po, what’s the matter buddy? It’s the middle of the night” I said as I opened the door. “Licky Licky” Po said pointing towards the area where all my Pokémon sleep. So, I followed Po and walked to where everyone was supposed to be sleeping. When I turned the corner, I was greeted by 10 bodies thrown into a pile and they were all wearing black clothing. “Oh gosh!”
I stammered out. “What happened here! Are you guys okay?” I exclaimed freaking out. I ran up and looked everyone over including Tremor and no injuries. “Okay, you guys look perfectly fine, but what’s up wit these guys?” I said looking closer at the body pile. I checked one of their wrists and they did have a pulse. Next, I pulled one off the pile and flipped them over. They were dead weight, but still just knocked out. On this person’s chest sure enough was a Team Rocket logo. “TEAM ROCKET WAS HERE AGAIN!?!?!?” I screamed making my Pokémon jump. “Who stopped these people and knocked them out?” I asked still panicking a little. Po simply pointed at Tremor and Taco with a smile. “Our two newest friends stopped all the bad people by themselves?” I asked Po unsure of what to think. Rapunzel and Po both nodded and pumped their fists. “Tremor and Taco, you are our heroes!” I declared. Tremor looked away shyly and Taco put his head in my hand again just like he did the first time we met.

Rapunzel helped me tie up all the Team Rocket Grunts with rope we had found Team Rocket carrying. We only had a enough rope to tie their hands, but then Po came back with two Caterpie that were living at the lab. Without saying anything, both Caterpie used String Shot and tied up the rest of Team Rocket’s legs and feet. With all of Team Rocket still unconscious and now tied up securely I went back inside. I fired up the computer to use the phone and immediately called Jenny. “Who is calling in the middle of the night” Jenny asked sleepily. “Sorry to bother you Jenny, but it is Austin. Team Rocket is here at the Lab again” I said. “TEAM ROCKET AGAIN?!?!?” Jenny exclaimed. “Are you okay?” Jenny asked in a rush. “Everyone here is safe and uninjured. Po says that Taco and Tremor took them all out. When Po brought me outside, they were all stacked up in a pile unconscious” I told her. “I’ll get my gear and a Prison Transport and meet you at the lab asap” Jenny said. “I’ll meet you by the side door” I responded.

Proton’s POV
I had barely escaped whatever that ambush was. How was he commanding his Pokémon without us seeing him? This guy must be stronger than I thought! I have to get back to Viridian City and get more of our elites! Grunts ain’t gonna cut it this time. Right as I was walking up Route 1, I heard sirens coming my way. I ducked into the trees to hide and waited for them to pass me. Having to run back to Viridian with my tail between my legs, I am going to make sure this kid pays!!!
After 35 minutes of stumbling around in the dark on Route 1, I finally made it back to Viridian City. I headed straight for the gym when someone grabbed me by the back of the collar. “Where do you think you’re slinking off to Team Rocket slime!” the stranger said lifting me off the ground. “Put me down, do you know who I am?!?” I exclaimed. “Doesn’t matter what kind of Team Rocket slime you are, you’re coming in for questioning” the stranger said hauling me towards the Police Station. “You can’t arrest me, you aren’t Offier Jenny” I said trying to struggle. “No, I’m not Officer Jenny. I’m much much worse!” the stranger said chuckiling. She carried me straight to the cells and put me in and locked the cell. “Let me out, I didn’t do anything!” I shouted. I could finally see who arrested me, and of course it is the previous Officer Jenny. Chief Jenny now… Boss said to be careful around her since she has caught Team Rocket before and busted up operations. I’m in for a long night…

Back in Pallet Town
“You don’t know how they got knocked out?” Jenny asked me taking notes. “No idea, let’s ask Tremor and Taco” I said pointing at the two snake like Pokémon. “Taco could you show us how you stopped Team Rocket?” I asked the half asleep snake. Taco popped up and his eyes started to glow red. “He knows Glare!” I exclaimed. “Glare causes paralysis with anyone or anything that meets his eyes!” I said proudly. “Well that explains some of them. What about Tremor?” I asked looking at the giant. “Hey Tremor, what did you do to stop Team Rocket?” I asked. “Steel” he said and his mouth started glowing purple with static shooting out like a cloud of flares. “That’s good bud, you can stop!” I yelled up to him. Tremor swallowed the cloud in his mouth and groaned happily. “You did great bud! You definitely are a hero! A Dragon Hero!” I said patting his body. “What was that cloud?” Jenny asked. “He used Dragonbreath! It’s a Dragon Type Move and it also causes paralysis. Usually not too much paralysis though, but Team Rocket must not have moved out of the cloud and absorbed enough for them all to be knocked out” I said still patting Tremor. “Tremor can use Dragon Moves?!?!?” Jenny asked looking shocked. “Yeah Tremor’s got some Dragon in him all right!” I said looking proudly at my giant steel monster.
Jenny’s Team loaded up Team Rocket to bring them back to Viridian City and sent them on their way. “You are one lucky man” Jenny said finishing her note taking. “In more ways than you know Officer” I said with a wink. Jenny blushed but kept writing. “Okay, I think we got everything we need. We’re going to get these guys put away, and I’ll expect a letter tomorrow afternoon” Jenny said putting away her gear. “Sounds good Jenny, I’ll talk to you tomorrow! Thanks for getting here so fast!” I said shaking her hand and then kissing the back of it. “You’re too much” Jenny said blushing again. “Goodnight!” Jenny called out now boarding her motorcycle. “Goodnight!” I waved back.
“Okay everyone back to sleep now, we’ll take it easy tomorrow and have a small party for Taco and Tremor” I said with a smile. “Lick Lick” Po said nodding his head. Finally I was able to go back to bed, but I had lost at least 2-3 hours minimum. Cha was still resting in his little nest on the shelf in my room, and had missed all the action. “Goodnight again Cha!” I said finally going back down.
