Professor Tripathi, the instructor of magical techniques, entered the second class and began introducing himself to the students.
"Alright, children," he said, "today we'll head to the training field. You will eventually learn magic—but if you don't know how to use it properly, then that magic is completely useless."
With that, he led all the students toward the training ground.
On the way, one student noticed Princess Babita walking beside Aryan. Jealousy burned fiercely in his heart. If he had the power, he would have killed Aryan right then and there.
Soon, they arrived at the training ground—a massive field as large as a cricket stadium.
Some people were practicing magic. Some were training the beasts they had summoned.Others were sharpening their swordsmanship skills.
In truth, Magician's Hall offered many different courses.
One of them was the Summoner Course.
In this course, students connected their minds with beasts from another world and formed contracts with them. Many times, this process was extremely dangerous, because students could only enter that world in the form of their souls.
Sometimes, their souls would become severely weakened.
However, some summoners didn't want to risk their souls. They could instead form contracts with beasts from this world and tame them.
But the difference was clear—
Beasts from the other world received far greater nourishment.A Grand Tier beast from that world could easily defeat a Saint Level beast from this one in moments.
The second major course was Swordsmanship.
Just like magic, swordsmanship also had levels:
Initial Swordsman
Mid-Rank Swordsman
Great Swordsman
Godly Swordsman
Planet-Level Swordsman
And even higher ranks beyond that.
Then there were Healers—a rare and highly respected course.
Only a chosen few were born with the ability to become healers, which made them famous not just within Magician's Hall, but across the entire planet Swaraj.
Aryan's attention returned from the System's explanations to Professor Tripathi.
In fact, all of this information had been provided by the System the moment Aryan entered the training ground.
Professor Tripathi spoke again,
"Today, I'm giving you a task. Anyone who completes it on time will earn credits, which will be added to your final examination marks."
"All of you, listen carefully."
"Yes, sir!" the students replied in unison.
"For this task, you will travel to another world."
Some students already knew about this, while others didn't.
"Magician's Hall exists like a seal between two worlds," Tripathi continued."One side is our world. The other is a dangerous realm filled with threats at every step."
This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it
"That world is called Vikraal."
It was a world overflowing with beasts that showed no mercy to humans.
Every year, Magician's Hall sent students on missions to Vikraal—and some never returned.
"But don't worry. This is only a primary task. You'll be sent to a relatively safe area."
Magician's Hall had divided Vikraal into different zones.
Different gates led to different regions, each gate marked with a color representing danger level.
Yellow Gate – Low danger, beasts below Saint Level
Orange Gate – Godly Level beasts or lower
Other gates represented even greater dangers.
The students began forming teams. Going alone was risky—no one knew when danger might appear.
Everyone wanted Aryan on their team.
"Aryan, why don't you join our team?" a girl said, clinging to him.
"No, he's coming with us," another girl said, pushing her aside and hugging Aryan instead.
Before Aryan could respond, Princess Babita stepped in.
"Aryan, meet our team—Riya, Sneha, and Rohan."
"But when did I say I was joining your team?" Aryan protested.
The Princess shot him a sharp glare.
He immediately went silent.
Together, they crossed the forest and entered the Yellow Gate.
Each gate sent different teams to different locations.
When Aryan arrived in the other world, for a moment it felt like he had returned to his old world.
Tall buildings.Familiar roads.Vehicles scattered across the streets.
But everything looked abandoned—like the city had been deserted centuries ago.
They moved deeper into the city—
Suddenly, a Half-Monkey Beast appeared before them.
It looked like a gorilla—but with a crown on its head and two light-brown wings perfectly matching its body color.
These creatures were as intelligent as humans.
Seeing it, all five of them quickly hid behind a building.
"That's a Godly Level beast!" Riya whispered."What is it doing here?"
"Did we come through the wrong gate?" Rohan asked nervously.
"No, that's impossible," Aryan replied."The teachers would've stopped us."
"This means the beast escaped from its territory," Aryan and Princess Babita said together.
Rohan suggested,"Aryan, why don't you use the same attack you used on Teacher Ayan? We'll strike while it's weakened."
"I can't," Aryan replied."I can only use that attack once a day."
As Aryan wondered what to do—
SYSTEM SUCCESSFULLY UPDATED…
Hearing this, Aryan felt relieved. He focused his consciousness inward.
Inside the System, he found a high-tech library with a reception desk—and behind it sat a holographic girl.
He couldn't touch her, only speak to her.
The shelves were filled with countless books.
For a moment, Aryan felt disappointed.
Is this what the update gave me?
But when he opened one book—
He was stunned.
It contained complete information about the Half-Monkey Beast, including all its weaknesses.
Suddenly, the book flew straight into Aryan's mind.
All the knowledge flooded in—as if he had read it countless times.
Now he was certain—
He could defeat the Half-Monkey.
Still, he continued exploring.
At the end of the library, he found an elevator.
It took him to the second floor, where there was a Virtual Training Chamber—a place to fight any warrior and refine combat skills.
There was also a shop called Heaven's Medicine.
He asked for a pill.
The hologram handed him a Saint-Level medicine.
The pill was golden and radiated pure energy.
Aryan was shocked.
This grade of medicine doesn't exist in the outside world.
Excited, he asked for another.
The hologram refused.
"Why? This System is mine—so isn't all this mine too?" Aryan argued.
"Yes," the hologram replied,"but you must exchange Beast Cores obtained from killing beasts."
"Higher-level cores unlock stronger Heaven's Medicine."
"These medicines can raise your level without side effects—and even enhance your knowledge."
"Your strength will far surpass others of the same level."
Aryan consumed the pill and began condensing his energy.
Six hours passed.
When he regained awareness, he realized—
Time inside the System moved much slower than the real world.
He stepped out.
Princess Babita stopped him."Where are you going? That beast is outside!"
"Don't worry," Aryan said calmly, revealing his level—
Saint Level.
Everyone was stunned.
"You were Grand Tier before!" Rohan exclaimed.
"Yes! We checked before entering!" Riya added.
Scratching the back of his head innocently, Aryan smiled.
"I just understood something on the way here… and my level broke through."
Everyone was speechless.
They didn't believe a word of it.
Then Aryan said,
"I'll lure the Half-Monkey. You all go back to the forest and inform the teachers."
"I'll stay," the Princess insisted.
After much persuasion, she finally agreed.
Aryan stepped forward and shouted,
"Hey monkey! Over here! If you've got guts, come catch me!"
The Half-Monkey roared and chased him.
Meanwhile, the others ran toward the forest.
Princess Babita kept looking back, worried—
Until Aryan disappeared from her sight.
What will happen to Aryan? Can he defeat the Half-Monkey alone? Will the teachers arrive in time?
To find out—Keep watching…
