The New Masbro State Civil Corps is a very powerful team.

The entire army has a quota of 2000 people, with about 1500 actual personnel. There are 20 Holy Knights, 15 Mages, over 200 El'goroth Priests, 12 Red Robe Mages who immigrated from Sel, and one Druid from a prestigious family.

Now, Ferry was following Governor Norm and his entourage, reviewing the powerful troops lined up in the open fields outside Emon Port. His whole body seemed to be electrified, shaking non-stop, pointing at the front row of the troops with his hand, asking in an extremely excited tone: "Those... are the Holy Warriors?"

Twenty elderly men with white hair, snow-white beards and pale skin wore shining silver armor, holding long spears on horseback, with the sacred emblem of Heimdall, the guardian god, painted on the flag behind them. Probably because the summer sun was too toxic, these old men had just ridden their horses for a short while before they started to pant slightly.

Governor Norm nodded: "Yes, they are all veterans of the regular legions of the Empire, each with a brilliant military service record, and when they retired, they were allocated land in New Mazovia, so they joined the militia."

Fili pointed to a group of children playing on the edge of the crowd and asked, "Are these the mages?"

"Absolutely genuine bloodlines of the Thaumaturges!" A stout dwarf senator hastily replied, "Don't look at their age, they're only eleven or twelve years old, but every single one of them is proficient in zero-level magic (tricks), and two can even use first-level magic. I heard from the director of the New Magic Sorbrae City Orphanage just a few days ago that he was going to recommend them for fundraising performances in several southern states."

A large number of El'goroth priests are graduates from the seminary who have no temple willing to take them in. Since the seminary is a guaranteed job, they end up being sent to the militia instead. Due to their poor skills, most priests can only wield wooden swords, lest they accidentally cut themselves during church rituals (the Sword Dance) or combat.

The red-robed mages were in their prime, having participated in the Sern War and possessing considerable combat prowess. Unfortunately, they had only recently arrived in New Elyria and hadn't yet had time to learn the language of the land. As a result, each one required a translator to be assigned to them in order to take action, but translators who spoke Sern were hard to come by, and recruitment efforts were still underway.

And the great Druid... Ferri only saw a huge dog bear wearing a black coat lying on the ground, with a Drow elf girl riding on its neck, teasing it with an apple. According to Governor Nomm, this great Druid comes from a noble Druid family in Sword Coast, with a history dating back to the First Netheril Empire 3000 years ago, so that the family has become too old and can no longer distinguish whether they are human or animal. Mr. Great Druid works part-time at the New Circus of Marsember, and the Drow elf girl is his trainer...

As for the other members, Fili saw a collection of most troops from various historical periods on the continent of Ferelden, including swordsmen, mages, spearmen, archers, halberdiers, mounted archers, light cavalry, riflemen, artillerymen, Dalish assassins, half-elf slingers, golemancers, beastmen shamans carrying totem poles, dwarven knights riding wild boars, and Mazek warriors wielding stone clubs dressed like a fire chicken. The variety is so rich that it's enough to open a military history museum. If this were a tens of thousands-strong mixed army, it would surely be the dream of many military enthusiasts. But if you put so many troops in a small squad of over a thousand people, it would absolutely become a nightmare for any commander.

Feli, trapped in a nightmare, finally came to his senses after reviewing the militia. After all, the true commander of the army was Charlotte, and if anyone had to worry, it would be her. As long as he could keep his own life safe on the battlefield, that was enough. So, over the next few days, Feli desperately topped up his portable magic web terminal. Since there were no smart magic webs available for downloading spells in this era, Feli had to fill them manually, exhausting himself every day.

A few days later, Charlotte finally returned to Emon with the security team gathered from all over, and immediately began to mix with the civilian troops. In response to the problem of the mixed civilian troops, he came up with a very simple solution.

"Are these people under my command?" Ferri's eyes widened as he stared at the motley crew in front of him, consisting of a half-elf slinger, an archer cavalryman, a golem, a beastman shaman, a Mazuka warrior, and an El'gor priestess. He never could have imagined that Charlotte would take away the more regular troops like the riflemen and cannoneers from the militia, only to dump this ragtag bunch on him instead.

"Yes." Charlotte nodded solemnly, "As the commander of the militia and deputy commander of this auxiliary army, not having a single directly affiliated unit is indeed inexcusable. So I handpicked these elite soldiers to be your independent battalion!"

Got it, another thick-skinned guy. Seeing the governor's seal on the official document, Feili didn't bother to argue with him anymore. Anyway, having some cannon fodder was always good when problems arose. These irregular troops were useless in regular battles, but they often had unexpected benefits when used for guerrilla warfare or escape.

Now that he had his troops, he had to get organized. For safety's sake on the road, Phil first chose a relatively new Constructed Puppet as his ride. After repeatedly reinforcing the shell with strengthening potions, this puppet basically had bulletproof capabilities. Phil renovated the driver's compartment and engine room, then moved all the luggage in. He named this puppet "Bugle" to commemorate that war trophy which was arbitrarily written off by the Governor-General.

Charlotte left about 500 militiamen, and Ferry simply divided the motley crew into four teams: Dwarf Bam led his boar riders and beastmen shamans, along with 150 halfling slingers, as the first team; Nivelle's archer cavalry and Mazka warriors as the second team; over 100 Elsie priests who couldn't even heal properly, along with future mages, as the third team, basically a nursery; and himself, the red-robed mage, all nine assembled magic puppets, and several swordsmen Charlotte had left behind as his own team. So far, only Ferry understood some Selkie language (his second foreign language learned at Deepwater University), and no one else could communicate with them. Otherwise, Charlotte wouldn't have let out the battle-experienced red-robed ones.

After a chaotic collection of military supplies, recruitment of laborers and forced requisitions, which tormented the citizens of Emon to death, the newly formed auxiliary corps of Mor'Sobral finally set out on its journey nearly half a month after collapsing at the North Pole front line. This auxiliary corps of less than 3,000 men was about to face off against 7,000 well-trained elven warriors. Phil Taylor also reluctantly bore the glorious title of militia commander and deputy commander of the auxiliary corps, leading his motley crew on their journey to New Enoaok State.
