  Tilda: Listen closely ok? When you first start out you need to perform a ritual. This ritual will grant you a familiar, your familiar is a connection to the plane you will summon from. Having this connection allows you to summon.

  Luna: That seems easy enough.

  Tilda: I'm not done. Upon getting a familiar you need to make pacts with monsters through meditation. And to summon you need a focus.

  Luna: A focus?

  Tilda: FOCUS! A focus is an item that actually summons and maintains a connection. Focuses come in all different shapes and sizes. When summoning a monster an image appears on the focus and they summon. It costs mana to keep them on this plane.

  Luna: Wow, what's your focus?

  Tilda pulls a necklace out of her shirt as if she wanted to hide it. Luna can almost make out a picture on one side but Tilda quickly flips it. On the other side is a blank area where a picture could go.

  Luna: Aww that's cute. What's the picture on the other side?

  The Fool: You're called Miss Tilda.

  Tilda: Sorry Fool, I was just showing how to summon.

  The Fool: That is fine. If I am no longer needed I will be returning.

  The fool glows before returning to card form. It flies over into Tildas hands. She puts into her tarot deck case.

  Luna: So when do we start.

  Nero: Me and the doc need a subject for a little project, and he's so hellbent on killing this girl. He hasn't taken any significant damage that he would need to undergo “that” treatment.
