-Practical Classes-
Meteora drifted through class half asleep. Academically average, he remained calm and unbothered by it. Sonny and Merida teaching and encouraging the students, stealing glances of unspoken concern and attempts to get him to open up, that Meteora mistakes as just pity since he only had one public genre. Tests after tests to understand his mana sickness, only for the tests to come back and say it's just his genre.
Thee years flashed by.
Meteora, now eight, sat in his usual seat stifling a yawn as his teachers walked in.
"Morning Sonny and Ms Meri." He mumbles groggily with his classmates. His voice calm and quiet as usual, but with a less standoffish bite due to how early in the morning it was.
His classmates don't notice the change, but his teachers catch it, but say nothing to not make him uncomfortable, though a slight sparkle in their eyes says otherwise who knew the two.
"Good morning, class" Sonny said with their usual synthetic voice.
"Today marks a milestone! Your first practical class is today! After homeroom, you will go to your assigned Zodiac rooms to learn about the industry you will be in." Merida finishes after Sonny.
This catches Meteora's attention, his usual calm demeanor looking at them as he speaks up. "A question... will this have anything to do about the topics discussed yesterday?" His calm tone asks, causing some students to flinch but Sonny and Merida to beam.

"Very astute, Meteora. Yes, topics such as raw goods, which Taurus handles for example. will be touched upon today." Sonny says first proudly.
"They will go deeper into detail in the practical class, but as your homeroom and core teachers, we couldn't send you all without some knowledge to succeed." Merida added happily.
Meteora nods in understanding before stifling another yawn, then huffing heavily as he pulled out what he needed for notes and sneaking out his worst kept secret, an energy drink, cracking it open loudly before drinking it with a heavy swig and hiding a shiver going down his neck as the sharp tang of the drink coated his tongue.
He pauses as he hears heavy footsteps out the door, tilting his head. "Guess they couldn't wait." He mutters, catching Sonny's and Merida's attention just as there was a knock at the door and then opened before they could respond.
Ten adults walked in, each wearing the crest of the AZC they were associated with, their clothes somehow having a theme to the AZC and SC, but Meteora was too tired to even try to observe. Turning his focus to his drink once more.
The ten new individuals looked at the class before the one with a lion's head crest took charge of the conversation.
"As of immediately, you are to report to your practical courses." She said curtly.
"There are 21 of you shrimps in here, usually it's an even split. Ah, you." She all but growled in disdain as her gaze found Meteora who was mid swallow of his drink.
"If you can't be nice, don't say anything at all. That's what we've been taught." He said dryly as if being sarcastic, making some of his classmates snicker while the adults covered their grins behind their hands.
Meteora just looked at them deadpan, his usual ice calm demeanor making the moment even funnier as he just tilts his head.
