VitaNexus Systems emerged onto the scene as yet another bioengineer company in the late 2030s. There was nothing of note about the company at the time, outside of some ties to Koarden Enterprises. Everything they did was top secret and completed in-house. As such, in time, they faded from view and were forgotten.

  Then the big reveal came. They had successfully managed to clone a piece of the human body. Suddenly, they were all everyone could talk about.

  Bit by bit, they fed the media machine, revealing their accomplishments over the next few years. It started with a finger, then the entire hand, eventually they managed to clone a functioning arm. The ‘functioning’ part was the main issue. Just getting something that looked the same inside and out was actually fairly easy. It was getting it to work right that was the problem.

  Behind it all was Meredith, her fierce intelligence and never-sleeping mind churning away at one problem after another. The countless AIs she had created for this exact purpose came online, one after another, as they were created and installed throughout the structures on the moon.

  The information that had been contained within the data prism had been immense. The average data prism could hold several petabytes of data. The amount of data the higher quality ones could hold went up along with the scale of cost.

  However, in this case, the size had truly been immense. It was no longer in the realm of petabytes, but exabytes.

  Just skimming it all had been an absolute nightmare and really strained his mind.

  The end result was that he now had a clear destination. They needed to go to the site of the Denver International Airport, except their destination would be the tunnels underneath it. The airport was still in use currently, though commercial flights cost an absurd amount. Most of the flights that landed there currently were owned by the various corporations in the area.
