Chapter 67 Heard You Have Been Looking for Me

Kaelor had no interest in the resource battle itself. He had joined it purely to settle his personal grudge with Allen.

He had already planned everything. If he could beat Allen mercilessly under the gaze of the crystal mirrors during the resource battle, then thoroughly humiliate him and make him lose all face.

That would be far more entertaining than winning the resource battle or seizing any amount of resources. It would also completely wash away his previous humiliation.

However, ever since he learned that Allen would not be participating in the resource battle, Kaelor lost all enthusiasm for it.

A few days earlier, he had deliberately humiliated Evelyn, a close friend of Allen, in public at the gates of Luminara Magic Academy.

His goal was to provoke Allen and force him to join the resource battle to seek justice for Evelyn.

But now it seemed that Allen was clearly afraid of him and did not dare to participate in the resource battle at all.

That made sense. Allen would not be foolish enough to openly challenge him for the sake of an insignificant companion.

Kaelor looked at the two academy guards who were fighting fiercely over an Elemental Fruit filled with dense magical power.

Their moves were vicious and completely merciless. Watching this scene, Kaelor felt an inexplicable sense of pleasure rising in his heart.

He sneered."Some people want to become my dogs and work for me, but they are not even qualified."

Kaelor had also brought along his own personal guard team. At this moment, he was letting them fight among themselves for his amusement.

This was one of his little quirks. He enjoyed watching people go all out and fight to the death over such trivial resources.

That feeling of controlling the fate of others and watching them struggle and clash fascinated him endlessly.

Kaelor clapped his hands and laughed loudly, his tone full of playful encouragement."That is more like it. All of you, give it everything you have."

"Use your strongest spells. Otherwise, you can only watch helplessly as others take what belongs to you and end up as mere background figures."

With a casual flick of his hand, he tossed the Elemental Fruit to the guard who had just won the fight.

Meanwhile, the guard who had lost was already gravely injured, his body covered in wounds as he lay collapsed on the ground.

  "Kaelor. Kaelor."

Shrill and panicked cries came from the dense forest not far away.

Kaelor frowned and looked toward the source of the sound, only to see several disheveled figures stumbling toward him.

They were all noble youths who had previously been beaten badly by Allen. Now they were covered in injuries, their clothes in tatters.

Kaelor shook his head in disdain, his eyes filled with contempt. These people had only been able to enter Luminara Magic Academy because of their family influence.

Normally they were arrogant and domineering, but once they encountered a true expert, they became utterly helpless, losing all their former swagger. They were nothing but a bunch of useless trash.

The group finally rushed in front of Kaelor. The moment they saw him, they could no longer hold back and burst into tears.

They clutched tightly at Kaelor's robes and cried out,"Kaelor, run. Allen is here. He is in the resource battlefield and has been searching for you everywhere."

"He is terrifying. We are no match for him at all. He beat us until we could not fight back. You have to leave quickly. Do not let him catch you, or you will definitely be beaten terribly."

As Kaelor listened to their cries and warnings, the expression on his face froze instantly. Then a towering rage surged up from deep within his heart.

He roared hysterically,"You want me to hide from that trash Allen?"

"Have you all been beaten stupid by him? A piece of trash dares make me, Kaelor, run away? He thinks he is worthy of making me avoid him?"

Seeing the rage on Kaelor's face, several of them instinctively took a step back and hurriedly tried to explain.

If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

"No, Kaelor, please do not misunderstand."

"That Allen really is not a piece of trash. On the surface he is only a Fifth tier Senior Mage, but even Archmages are no match for him."

"Look at us. We ran into him and ended up like this, beaten until we are covered in wounds."

"He even asked us about your whereabouts and said he was determined to find you and settle accounts with you."

"He even said that once he caught you, he would tear you to pieces and make you pay the price."

As they spoke, they pointed at the injuries all over their bodies, desperate to make Kaelor believe that they were not exaggerating Allen's terror.

Kaelor's expression grew even darker."Have your brains been beaten to mush?"

"A Fifth tier Senior Mage fighting an Archmage and winning?"

"Just that trash Allen who can barely control his own magic? You dare tell me this kind of nonsense?"

In his eyes, it was pure fantasy. They had clearly been beaten into fear and were deliberately exaggerating Allen's strength to cover up their own incompetence.

Seeing that Kaelor still did not believe them, one of the guards who was an Archmage spoke up.

"Kaelor, what they said is true. Allen can cast master level spells. Even when I went all out, I was no match for him."

Kaelor looked at the Archmage, whose body was stained with blood.

He fell silent for a moment, then spoke slowly."He is really looking for me?"

The people beside him nodded vigorously."Yes, he is truly looking for you, and urgently. He has already searched most of the resource battlefield. You should run quickly."

"No matter who he encounters, as long as they are connected to you, he attacks them on sight, without negotiation and without mercy. It was pure luck that we managed to escape here."

Hearing this, Kaelor suddenly let out a cold snort. A flash of ferocity crossed his eyes as the magic around his body instantly surged violently.

The terrifying magical power of a Fifth tier Archmage was released without restraint, instantly enveloping the entire area.

They had actually forgotten that Kaelor's strength had long since reached the Fifth tier Archmage realm.

"You useless trash cannot even deal with a Fifth tier Senior Mage, and you still have the nerve to tell me to run?"

"You may fear Allen, but I have not placed him in my eyes at all. A mere Fifth tier Senior Mage is still a piece of trash that can be crushed easily in my eyes."

At this, the few of them finally seemed to awaken from a dream. The fear on their faces was instantly replaced by wild joy. They all lifted their heads, their eyes filled with admiration.

"That is right. How could we forget? Kaelor, you are the genius among geniuses of the younger generation of Luminara Magic Academy."

"You are a Fifth tier Archmage. Even among the younger generation in the academy, your combat power ranks within the top ten. You are not comparable to ordinary Archmages at all."

"That Allen may be able to defeat ordinary Archmages, but he could never defeat you. Once you take action, you will definitely crush him with ease and teach him a harsh lesson."

Light immediately lit up in everyone's eyes. Deep down, they knew that among the apprentices participating in this resource battle, Kaelor's strength could definitely rank within the top three.

Within Luminara Magic Academy, not every apprentice who was qualified to participate in the resource battle chose to sign up.

And among those who did, Kaelor was absolutely a king level existence, unrivaled by anyone.

Kaelor glanced at them sideways."Since that trash Allen is in such a hurry to come looking for his death, I will give him the chance."

"I will personally cripple him, shatter his arrogant confidence, and turn him into a true piece of trash who cannot even release magic."

Hearing Kaelor's words, the people beside him immediately lit up with excitement, their faces breaking into ecstatic smiles.

Allen continued searching without pause for any trace of Kaelor.

By the morning of the second day, the entire resource battlefield had finally become completely lively.

Everyone emerged from their hiding places and began moving through the battlefield, searching for suitable opponents, clashing and killing each other as they fought for more resources and honor.

At this point, however, no one dared to take the initiative against Allen anymore. His record of sweeping through and crushing noble youths and their guard teams had already spread across the entire resource battlefield.

No one dared to treat him as an ordinary Fifth tier Senior Mage any longer. Everyone avoided him as much as possible.

Allen continued to dart rapidly through the dense forest. At that moment, he suddenly sensed a surge of killing intent rushing toward him.

He instinctively turned around and saw a dazzling blade of light flying straight toward his head at extreme speed.

Without the slightest panic, he slowly raised his hands and swung out an equally sharp blade of light. The two light blades collided violently in midair.

The deafening crash echoed as both blades shattered at the same time.

After blocking the sudden attack, dozens of figures emerged from the surrounding forest and piles of rocks, forming an encirclement and tightly surrounding Allen in the center.

Allen swept his gaze over the people around him. These were all faces he knew very well. They were the noble youths he had beaten before, along with the members of their guard teams.

"Did I not beat you badly enough, that you want to fight again?"

They knew very well that they were no match for Allen. The only reason they dared to appear again and surround him was because they had someone backing them.

At that moment, a voice suddenly sounded from behind them.

"Allen, I heard that you have been looking for me these past few days?"

As the voice fell, the crowd stepped aside, opening a path. Kaelor slowly walked out from among them.

Seeing Kaelor, a faint smile appeared on Allen's face."I finally found you, Kaelor."

"You were looking for me?" Kaelor raised his brow, feigning curiosity.

  "Of course," Allen replied.

"Then tell me. You have been in such a hurry to find me. What exactly do you want to do? I am quite interested to hear it."

Allen rolled his shoulders."Nothing special. I will let you know."

Hearing this, Kaelor could not help but burst out laughing."Allen, do you even know what you are?"

"You are not worthy of making me act personally. I will give you a chance. Walk out of this encirclement alive first, then come back and say those words."

With that, Kaelor laughed as he took several steps back, retreating behind the others.

He then waved his hand at the members of his guard team beside him."Do it. Let him know just how painful the price of offending me can be."

As Kaelor's command fell, the crowd closed in tightly around Allen.
