Milagros got back a series of professional, high resolution cameras that could film in slow motion. She arranged them in a full circle around the center of the gym, with cameras in the ceiling and floor to include more angles.
She did everything she could to get as much information as they could from the moment they used the marble that held the training dummy.
After everything was arranged, Amelia stood at the center of all the recording cameras, held the marble in her hand, took a deep breath and crushed it.
The moment she activated the marble, a figure the size of a person appeared in front of her. It was made of an unknown wood and it was surprisingly detailed. It looked almost like a sculpture and no one would think it was a training dummy.
“Is that it? It just appeared!” Victoria asked.
“We should not have expected anything else after we saw our weapons appear in front of us,” Rafael pointed out.
“And that is why we have the cameras recording,” Milagros explained. “ I really want to know what they captured.”
“It looks like regular wood. Are you sure it can whistand your hits?” Alberto asked examining the item that was purchased from the Trial shop.
“Only one way to know. Ami, give it a punch.” Gabriela ordered her student.
Knowing that it was supposed to be Rank 2, Amelia threw a full strength punch at the dummy. Everyone expected for either the dummy to crash or for nothing to happen, but the result was different. There was a really loud noise that sounded like a car crash and there was a wind blast from the point of impact, but even with all of that, there was no damage to the dummy. It didn’t even move at all.
“Way better than any wood I know,” Milagros stated.
“This what being of Rank 2 means. It will be useful for training. Ami you have more strength than me, do you want to try stabbing it with my dagger?” Emilio proposed.
Amelia happily accepted the dagger and tried to stab it. Only to be completely stopped by the wood. When they looked at the damage, it didn’t even leave a scratch.
“Wow, that is remarkable,” Amelia praised her new item.
“Just for comparison, try the wall.” Milagros asked and focused one of the cameras to the concrete wall.
Amelia approached the wall with the dagger, but she didn’t have to use any strength at all. She just had to slightly push it into the concrete wall and it went all in until the handle as if it was made of soft butter.
“Emi, how is it this sharp?” Victoria asked.
“It was upgraded to Rank 2, I expect it to be sharp,” Emilio explained.
“Remarkable. I will bring some materials to try the dagger with,” Milagros decided and took a mental note on the issue.
“I want to try my gun too. It is also Rank 2 now and I finally have high Energy!” Amelia proposed.
“Usually, you shouldn’t shoot here. But we already have the cameras installed. I’d say you should try it out,” Milagros agreed.

“Won’t someone call the cops with all this noise?” Darío asked. They already did something that sounded like a car crash and now they were going to start shooting what seemed to be a real weapon.
“If that happens I can take care of it,” Milagros dismissed his worries.
“If that is the case, I should start first with the regular gun,” Gabriela advised.
“Do you have it here?” Rafael asked.
“I do, I guessed we might be going to the shooting range.”
Gabriela looked for her gun in her bag and had to charge it, she was not going to be carrying a loaded gun around.
She stood half a gym away from the dummy with everyone else behind her, aimed and shot.
There was a loud noise, but the dummy didn’t react at all. It stood in the same way it was before. The dummy was without even a little bit of a mark and bullet laid on the floor, turned into a small metal disk.
“That is disappointing,” Darío admitted.
“On the contrary, it is exciting,” Amelia contradicted him, “and now I get to try my gun!”
“She is right, this shows the strength of the dummy,” Milagros agreed. “I will try to get some higher caliber weapons to try out.”
Even if they wanted to try other weapons, they couldn’t, but they did have a Rank 2 gun to try out. Everyone moved half a gym away again for her to shoot. She might have not been as good of a sharpshooter as Gabriela, but she had been practicing the day before for a few hours and was confident that she could hit the dummy if she aimed at the chest.
Amelia pointed at the wood and took her time to focus on aiming. When she felt ready she took the shot. It was as silent as the last time and the bullet was just as hard to detect, but this time there was a slight sound they could hear when the attack hit the dummy. It was a slight blunt noise, but that was it.
There was no damage to the dummy and this time there was no bullet in the floor to prove that the bullet was fired.
“At least we know we can use it without fear of breaking it.” Gabriela said and the rest couldn’t help but agree. The dummy seemed completely indestructible so far.
“I have another idea, but I don’t know if the cameras would be safe, can we take them off before trying?” Amelia asked.
“Let me take the footage and save it, but I prefer to record your test too. If they break, so be it,” Milagros explained and she approached the cameras.
It didn’t take long for her to have the footage secured and they stood once again away from the dummy for the new test.
Amelia pointed at the dummy once again, but this time she was even more focused than before. She took quite a while to prepare for the attack. Once she was ready she took the shot.
This time there was a big change and the bullet was not silent anymore. The bullet was invisible, but the sound was the same as any other gun.
“What did you do?” Gabriela asked.
“I used a Skill related to Energy. If I am right, it should have been stronger than the last one, but with this dummy we can’t tell.”
“We will test that later,” Gabriela proposed, “ Milagros, we might need some bulletproof materials of different resistances and a camera for testing.”
“I will get them for you. And please, call me Mili.”
“I have one more idea,” Amelia added. “ Do you want to take the footage again before I do it?”
“Do you think it is necessary?” Milagros asked.
“Maybe…”
They decided to take off the footage once again, just in case. After downloading it, they stood at the back of the Gym again as they watched Amelia prepare another attack. No one expected any damage after their previous experiments, but it was still interesting to see what Amelia had come up with.
Her process was the same as the previous ones. She pointed at the dummy and focused for a while.
“Here it comes,” She said after she was ready and took the shot.
The gun was silent once again and the bullet was as invisible as the previous times. It travelled at high speeds towards the dummy without anyone detecting it, but as soon as it hit the wood the bullet exploded.
The explosion made a sphere of fire with a radius of about one meter scorching everything inside. After one second the fire calmed down leaving a scorched ground, a bunch of cameras that were completely destroyed and a lonely dummy standing in the middle, still as spotless as the moment it had appeared.
