A lone motorcycle drives through the expanses of what seems to be a district covered in sand, giving the appearance of a desert. Most of the buildings have sunk underneath the massive stretches of sand, and only a part of it's urban and suburban areas survived being buried beneath. Tendou, now wearing a pair of sungsses, a white coat over a white T-shirt and a pair of denim jeans, as well as a white cowboy hat, keeps on driving as he then speaks to Arona through his earpiece. A huge linen sack is slung over his right shoulder, carrying boxes of various calibers of ammunition, as well as cooking ingredients.

  "Arona. I'm entering the Abydos Desert, do you have any data on the school of this district?"

  "I do, Sensei. Apparently this is, or was, one of Kivotos' most influential school districts, rivalling that of the Great Three."

  "The Great Three?"

  "Gehenna, Trinity and Millenium. Well, you can argue that Abydos was once a part of the Three until Millennium took over that spot ever since the desertification occurred."

  An image flickered in Tendou's memories. A sight that his alternate future self witnessed, of what happened to his homeworld if in 1999, the meteor doesn't only strike Shibuya, but also the oceans causing every single drop of water seen from orbit was dried up. His alternate future self averted the space-time continuum, creating the new timeline which was ter on disrupted in 2019 thanks to Yaguruma. Due to that vision, Tendou begins to specute if what happened to Abydos is the same as what happened to his alternate future self's homeworld. Especially considering 1999 was not the year the worms first appeared, but actually in 1971 in the form of Native Worms, who assumed human forms to coexist with the denizens of earth, formed ZECT, and created the Masked Rider System in order to combat the worms in 2006.

  He is snapped back to reality when a female voice called out to him. Looking to the side of the road, he sees a dark pink haired girl with horns wearing what seems to be an overcoat with fur around it's colr over a white shirt and bck skirt and gold strapped high heeled shoes calling him over. Wanting to hear what she wants to ramble at him, Tendou stopped his bike on the side of the road as the girl approached him.

  "Hey! This road leads to nowhere but the nothingness of the Abydos district! You might want to turn around!"

  "I... decide the path that I walk."

  "What?" The girl tilted her head in confusion, as Tendou then drove off.

  After a few more miles of driving (which others may see as him driving aimlessly due to him randomly picking turns), Tendou sees another figure up the road. A gray haired girl with wolf ears above her head, riding a bicycle with a SIG SG-550 assault rifle slung against her schoolbag. After driving past her, Tendou took a gnce at her uniform: A tucked, white dress shirt with a left breast pocket faintly embroidered with the school's logo and name, a cyan necktie with a navy blue cross mark at its bde, a pleated, dark grey skirt with a pid pattern with white accents, a navy blue bzer with silver buttons and white accents, and an lime-green and cyan school badge hanging off the left side of the bzer. Looking closer at the school logo on the badge, it has the words 'ABYDOS' underneath. Seeing this, Tendou stopped his bike, and the girl followed suit.

  "Yo."

  "...Yo?" The girl greeted back rather monotonously.

  Aside from the wolf ears, Tendou noticed a rather interesting feature on her appearance. Her pupils within her dark eyes have mismatched colors, one being white.

  "Are you a student from Abydos High School?"

  "Who's asking?" The girl raised her tone very slightly.

  "Tendou... Souji... Nn, so you're Tendou-Sensei."

  "The one and only."

  "It has been so long since we have anyone willing to help us."

  "And it is time for you to lend me your assistance as well..."

  "Sunaookami Shiroko."

  "Nice to meet you, Shiroko. I need your assistance in finding your school."

  "Nn. It's this way."

  Along the way, Shiroko connected her earpiece to Tendou's, and as they biked their way to the school, Tendou learned that all that is left of the Abydos academy, is the high school annex, and that there are only 5 students who are currently enrolled, Shiroko herself included. Aside from that all are kept behind Shiroko's sealed lips, and after a few minutes they finally reached the high school annex.

  "5 minutes. That's unusual for Shiroko-Senpai!" A navy blue haired girl with cat ears said, as she looked at the time on her phone. On her badge, the name Kuromi Serika is written.

  "Couldn't agree more... She usually came along with Hoshino-Senpai... Speaking of which, where IS she?" A bck haired girl with elven ears and a pair of eyegsses asked. On her badge, the name Okusora Ayane is written.

  "Senpai is probably napping somewhere again." Giggled a pale blonde haired girl who, unlike the other Abydos students, forwent the school's navy blue bzer and instead wearing a beige cardigan. On her badge, the name Izayoi Nonomi is written.

  "I can't wait like this anymore. I'll go wake Hoshino-Senpai up--"

  Just as Serika stood up, the door is opened by Shiroko.

  "Excuse me." Said Tendou as he walked into the cssroom.

  "S-Shiroko-Chan, who is this!? Did you kidnap this man!?" Nonomi pointed at Tendou.

  "I never expected Shiroko-Senpai to actually resort to committing a crime!" Ayane csped her tablet close against her chest.

  "Calm down! We need to figure it out before it gets out!" Serika took her AR-70 assault rifle and took aim at the cowboy hat cd Tendou.

  "It is none of what you are thinking. He said he wants to come to our school." Shiroko expined.

  This caused the entire room to look at Tendou in silence.

  "He wants to come to our school... Then could it be...?" Ayane blinked repeatedly, as if to reassure herself that she isn't dreaming.

  "He really did come to help... Tendou-Sensei from SCHALE!" Nonomi's eyes now have stars in them, as she recognize him as the SCHALE Sensei that has been viral on the internet for the past few days already.

  "He is... who?"

  "Serika-Chan, don't tell me you didn't catch up with the news!" Nonomi gave her undercsswoman a pout.

  "Hey, hey! It's not like that! I was... I was busy with part-time work that I had no time to check!"

  "Then you could have used your free time after the shift ended." Tendou finally spoke.

  "If you are Tendou-Sensei, then...!" Nonomi then ran to the window overlooking the front yard of the annex.

  Ayane and Serika soon followed, and the three of them looked in awe at the uniquely designed motorcycle parked in the middle of the yard.

  "That CBR1000RR... I have never seen modifications of such..." Ayane said.

  "I want to try riding it..."

  "You two are gzing over like kids in a candy store, snap out of it!" Serika remarked.

  The three of them were then stopped from overlooking the courtyard when the sound of a bag being put on the meeting table is heard. The three turned around just to see the bag spilling it's contents. Various calibers of ammuniton that are compatible with their weaponry, as well as some cooking ingredients.

  "We're saved, Nonomi-Senpai!" Serika commented.

  However her sights then went over to the ingredients, the ones that struck her the most is none other than the mackerels packed in tiny ice packs.

  "T-These are..." Serika's mouth begins to drool the moment she took one of the packs, and inspected it.

  "Matsuwa mackerel. Bought them alongside the ammunition on the way here." Tendou expined.

  "Not only these... but there are ginger and miso sauce... These are the ingredients for SCHALE's newly added saba misoni!" Nonomi chirped.

  "...Miso?" Shiroko asked, putting a finger against her lips.

  "Grandmother said this: If you receive a little kindness, give them a rge serving. I knew I would be bound to meet with someone of this school along the way, and as thanks for bringing me here, I can cook you saba misoni. Now, I guess introductions are in order."

  "Oh, right, we haven't introduced ourselves yet, Sensei." Ayane remembered. "I'm Okusora Ayane, a first-year student! Secretary of the Foreclosure Task Force." The gsses wearing elf, Ayane, introduced herself. Ayane then pointed to Serika, who ran out of the clubroom.

  "The cat eared girl who just left is Kuromi Serika, also a first-year and our treasurer at the same time."

  "My name is Izayoi Nonomi, a second-year student, a member of the Foreclosure Task Force. Nice to meet you, Sensei!" the cheerful Nonomi spread her arms in a welcoming hug motion, which Tendou only responded with a high five to one of her open hands, which of course Nonomi responded with a pout.

  "Sunaookami Shiroko. I have already introduced myself... although I am not trying to show off."

  "Who's in charge of this club?" Tendou asked.

  "Uhe~ Serika-Chan, you're being too rough!"

  Tendou turned around to see a pink haired girl of short stature, her eyes still half asleep. The most striking aspect of her is her rge ahoge.

  "Oh my, my name is Takanashi Hoshino. Nice to meet you~" Hoshino said, still lethargic.

  "My name is Tendou Souji. Walking the path of heaven--"

  "We get it!" Serika lowered Tendou's finger.

  The scene caused Nonomi to burst out ughing at how annoyed Serika is, to which the cat eared girl gred at the motherly senior. It was also then when Tendou gets to see Hoshino's eyes opened for the first time, which are a case of heterochromia, in which her left eye is blue and her right eye is orange in color. Before Tendou can speak further, the sounds of gunfire is heard outside. The entire clubroom then went to the window to see who fired the shot. A group of helmet wearing students, some of which wore red helmets while the majority wear bck motorcycle helmets.

  "To the Foreclosure Task Force of Abydos High School! We're taking over this area today!"

  "Them again!?" Shiroko growled.

  "Friends of yours?" Tendou asked bluntly.

  "As if! It's the damned Kata Kata helmet gang!" Serika shouted as she took up arms, checking her AR-70 magazine as well as the rifle's chamber to see if there is a round jammed.

  "Darn... And here I thought I can get a peaceful nap..." Hoshino yawned as she zily took her 12-gauge shotgun shells from one of the ammunition boxes that spilled out of the bag on the table.

  "Tendou-Sensei, those are the people that harassed us tely." Ayane expined.

  "Sensei, your advice!?" Nonomi asked as she cheerfully lifted up her minigun.

  "We're going to fight. Nonomi, to the roof and provide suppressing fire. Shiroko, Hoshino and Serika, you three are going to be with me on the front lines. Ayane, support us from the rear as best as you can."

  "Right!" Everyone except for Serika replied.

  "Why should I, no, we, listen to you?" Serika asked.

  "It's either this or lose the school."

  Barely a minute passed, as the helmet gangsters begin to take cover as Nonomi keeps her finger on the minigun's trigger, raining down suppressing fire onto the front yard, but also being careful as to not damage the Kabuto Extender. Hoshino sets up a foldable riot shield as a portable cover as she aimed her shotgun at any approaching gangster that got too close, while Shiroko and Serika fired from a distance, using the scopes of their rifles as advantage. Some of the thugs went down as their helmet visors shattered, while some covered their faces upon having their faces exposed.

  However, a horde of them approaches, and Nonomi's minigun starts to make clicking sounds, as she then realized what is going on. She ran out of ammunition.

  "Sensei! Now is your turn!" Ayane said through the comms.

  A beep sound is heard, as the Kabuto Zecter warped from a portal in the sky, and flew towards the school annex, hitting several helmet gangsters in the back of their necks before charging straight ahead towards Hoshino's direction.

  "Uhe!?" Hoshino yelped as she ducked down, and turned around to see Tendou catching the Kabuto Zecter.

  "Henshin!"

  "HENSHIN"

  Within a few seconds, Tendou transformed into Kabuto, the shockwave of the completed transformation shaking both Serika and Shiroko from behind causing them to look back.

  "W-What in the living world of Kivotos is that!?"

  "Sensei?"

  "Move. It's my turn to act." Kabuto said as he took aim with the kunaigun.

  Kabuto then unleashed several shots using the kunaigun's ion-beam projectiles, those that hit the helmet gangsters' in the helmets instantly had their visors shatter, while those who got shot in the body are knocked down to the ground.

  "There he is... Kabuto." Ayane commented as she sees Tendou using the drone that she flew outside which oversees the battle.

  At the helmet gang's side of the battle, most of the gangsters fled upon seeing Tendou transforming into Kabuto, some even forcing their teammates to retreat. The stubborn ones remain as they reloaded their guns with armor piercing bullets, to which Kabuto actually shook when shot by them.

  "Piercing bullets... Now this is something that ZECT never used." Kabuto commented, as ZECT uses explosive rounds most of the time.

  His eyes darted to the sandbags littering the streets like a warzone.

  "Grandmother is indeed correct. As long as I am wanted, destiny will always be at my side."

  He then shoots the sandbags, blowing them up causing sand to cloud all over the battlefield. Using the cover of the sand, he then motioned his free left hand to the zecter's horn.

  "Cast off!"

  "CAST OFF"

  The bulky armor parts of Kabuto's masked form springs away from his body, leaving behind the sleeker rider form, before the horn on his chin rises up to the forehead.

  "CHANGE BEETLE"

  "Clock up."

  "CLOCK UP"

  In the eyes of the Foreclosure Task Force, Kabuto vanished. What ensued are the screams of the helmet gangsters as they were sent flying, the officers ended up falling down a few feet before Hoshino's shield, before they start to pile up. Meanwhile in Kabuto's vision, he sees an advancing crusader tank through the sand screen. He quickly dashed to the cannon of the tank, before everything returned to normal as clock up ends.

  "CLOCK OVER"

  Just in time, Kabuto chops the cannon barrel of the crusader tank, rendering it unable to fire. The crew then crawled out, which is an adult robot that is bulkier than the usual civilian adult robots, and armed with knuckle dusters. The robot pounced on Kabuto, to which the tter just sps him in the back as he missed, and dived onto the hard asphalt as a result. Quickly, Kabuto then pushed the 3 buttons on top of the Kabuto Zecter.

  "1 2 3"

  Kabuto then reverted the horn of the Zecter onto it's original position, before chanting "Rider kick", continued with him pulling the horn back, to which an electric tachyon energy starts to build up.

  "RIDER KICK"

  The energy flowed from the zecter to the tip of the horn on the helmet, before coursing back to the right foot of Kabuto as the adult robot rushed in from behind, attempting to deliver a right hook. Before he is able to nd it however, Kabuto turned around, the suddenness causing the robot to stop off-guard, before being hit in the head with a 180 degree roundhouse kick which ends with Kabuto backfacing the robot again, before he explodes behind the tter. As the smoke clears out, Kabuto raises his right arm to the skies, his index finger pointing up to the heavens.

  "A-Alright, we'll tell you! I-It was a robot that hired us, and beyond that, we know nothing!" The officer of the helmet gang, one that wears a red helmet admitted.

  "If that is all that you know. Then we shall let you go, but never come back to harass these students ever again, or else there will be a bigger punishment." Kabuto said to the kneeling gang officer.

  "We're letting her off the hook?" Serika asked.

  "And one more thing. Tell your fellow gangsters of what defeated the others here, and why it is not a wise idea to attack ever again."

  "I-I will!"

  "Now leave."

  "Well... at least that was something..." Ayane sighed in relief as Kabuto deformed, revealing Tendou.

  The Kabuto Zecter then beeped cheerfully in front of Tendou, before flying away only to be caught by Nonomi.

  "Now this is a cute little fel! What do you call this, Sensei!?"

  "The Kabuto Zecter. One of the two components needed for me to become Kabuto."

  The wind blows by, fluttering Tendou's jacket which casually reveals the rider belt that he wore.

  "Uhe~ this Oji-San here wants to try using it... It might turn her back into a youth again with that armor..."

  "Impossible. You have to be chosen by the Zecter if you want to transform. It chose me."

  The Zecter beeped twice, desperately asking for help as Nonomi csped it close to her rge bust.

  "It's a shame... But I guess it is fine, then! After all, that would mean this little fel will never fall into the wrong hands!"

  "Indeed. Now, who wants a saba misoni party?"

  Everyone raised their hands, as Tendou gave them a big smile.
