In an instant, two transparent wings materialized behind him.
Bending his knees, he prepared to soar into the sky.
Wait. The wings seemed a bit too thin.
Without hesitation, he pulled out eleven more talismans, sticking them onto his back until he had a total of twelve transparent wings.
With careful flaps, he began to ascend.
But, being the cautious man he was, he tested flight above Luo Xian Mountain for half a day, making sure he had full control. After confirming his technique, he strapped on a custom-made parachute—just in case.
Now, he was ready.
He took off, circling Luo Xian Mountain to begin mapping the terrain.

Luo Xian Mountain’s Grand Formation: The Trapping Immortal Array
Unlike the Mirror Realm, Luo Xian Mountain was massive. Relying solely on formation materials wouldn’t cut it—he had to integrate the natural terrain.
This was where his formation skills would be truly tested.
A skilled formation master wouldn’t just arrange formations randomly; they would harness the land’s features, creating something far more powerful.
His choice?
A formation with an intimidatingly long name:
“The One Hundred and Eight Heavenly Stars and Earthly Fiends Supreme Nine Heavens and Ten Lands Xu Mi Trapping Immortal Array.”
Or, for simplicity’s sake:
“The Trapping Immortal Array.”
He had two main reasons for choosing it.
-
The Name. Longer names always felt more powerful. A formation with a name this long couldn’t be weak, right?
-
Its Versatility. This was Luo Xian Sect’s most advanced offensive-defense formation.
It consisted of 36 Heavenly Stars and 72 Earthly Fiends, forming 108 interconnected sub-formations. If one sub-formation failed, the entire array would collapse.
But, when successfully deployed, it could generate countless variations, each sub-formation functioning both independently and as part of the whole.

The best part?
It had self-repair capabilities.

The Missing Fire Element
Han Luo surveyed Luo Xian Mountain, splitting it into four major regions:
-
Luo Xian Mountain (Earth Element)
-
Luo Xian Lake (Water Element)
-
Luo Xian Waterfall (Metal Element)
-
Luo Xian Forest (Wood Element)
But something was missing.
The Fire Element.
The Trapping Immortal Array relied on perfect five-element balance. If he faked the Fire Element with formation techniques, the array’s power would drop significantly—and he refused to be that careless.
How to introduce Fire into the ecosystem?
Thinking deeply, he found the perfect solution. Half of Luo Xian Forest could be converted into a Fire-based forest!
And when it came to fire-attributed plants, one place instantly came to mind—Piao Miao Peak. His martial aunt, Hong Niang, loved red-colored flora, and since Piao Miao Peak was mostly female disciples, its Yin-heavy energy required fire-based vegetation to balance it.
Perfect.
But there was one major problem.
Piao Miao Peak… was home to Chi Xiao.
His biggest nemesis. If he ran into her…
“Pah! Pah! Pah!” Han Luo shook his head furiously.
Impossible! There’s no way I’ll run into her. I won’t be that unlucky.
Just to be safe, he decided to bring some gifts for Hong Niang.

Local Specialties as Tribute
Entering the Mirror Realm, he headed to his vegetable farm.
Fresh tomatoes, bok choy, green beans… and, of course, he picked a generous amount of cucumbers—rich in nutrients, great for beauty and skincare.
Alongside cucumbers, he packed carrots, eggplants, and other common vegetables into a large basket, strapped it onto his back, and followed a hidden path toward Piao Miao Peak.
And then…
The worst-case scenario happened.
—
Disaster at Piao Miao Peak
Inside Hong Niang’s meditation chamber, Han Luo sat stiffly, his hands rigidly placed on his thighs, trying hard not to break a sweat.
Across from him sat Chi Xiao and Lu Long, whispering among themselves, occasionally casting him strange glances.
Han Luo felt like he was sitting on a bed of nails.
This wasn’t part of the plan!
Before coming, he had confirmed that Chi Xiao was out on a mission.
So why the hell was she here?!
“Junior Brother, we really are fated to meet!”
Chi Xiao folded her arms and grinned.
“…Ah.”
Han Luo responded awkwardly.
“So? What’s with the big basket?” Chi Xiao’s gaze flicked to his back, then widened mischievously. “Oh, I see! You really took my joke seriously. You actually brought dowry gifts for Lu Long?”
Before Han Luo could protest, she flipped open the basket, revealing its fresh vegetables.
Her eyes lit up.
Not waiting for his response, she grabbed a tomato, wiped it on her sleeve, and took a big bite.
The juice exploded in her mouth, carrying a rich, earthy aroma.
“Mm! Not bad.” She looked at him, clearly impressed. “You grew these yourself?”
Han Luo nodded carefully, staying on high alert.
Chi Xiao smirked, then casually threw a cucumber at Lu Long.
“Here, Lu Long! This is a special ‘dowry gift’ just for you.”
Lu Long caught the cucumber, sighed, and rubbed her temples.
“Falcon, stop teasing him. Junior Brother is here to see Master.”
Still, she looked at Han Luo , a bit curious.
“So, Junior Brother, what’s your name?”
“Right, we don’t even know your name yet.” Chi Xiao grinned, leaning closer. “Since we’re so ‘fated,’ might as well introduce yourself. Don’t worry, if anyone dares to mess with you, just drop my name. No one would dare touch you in Luo Xian Sect.”
Han Luo thought carefully, then calmly replied:
“My name is Wo Shi Zhu.”
Chi Xiao froze for a second, then frowned.
“…That’s a weird name.”
She muttered it to herself, rolling it over in her mind.
Something felt off, but she couldn’t quite place it.
Just then, Hong Niang’s voice echoed through the chamber.
“Mission complete?”
The moment was interrupted.
Han Luo exhaled in relief—saved by Martial Aunt.
