  Chapter: 1 Moonise Stalks

  Two kids who look 10 with similar faces but one a little shorter than the other are sneaking through a group of bushes towards what seems like a clearing of some sorts. The clearing didn’t seem too big at first glance.

  “On second thought we really shouldn’t do this Daniel, It’s spooking me out.”

  “Shh…, you will always be a wuss, Sammy. No one’s gonna find us here. You just have to trust me.”

  “But it's wrong to sneak without telling others. Dada says only bad boys do that. And we aren’t bad, right?”

  “Dada also says to look out for our friends and we are doing just that. There’s nothing wrong in that. And if Dada scolds you just tell him I, your big brother Daniel forced you to come with me”

  “You didn’t force me to come though.”

  “Idiot, you don’t always have to tell the truth, now just shut up and follow me.”

  Samuel opens his mouth to argue with his 12 minutes older brother but then thinking better of it just shuts his mouth once again.

  He knows that when his brother is like this it's better than to try to convince him to do otherwise. He can now only follow him and pray he doesn't do anything too drastic. And hopefully he might even be able to keep them both out of trouble.

  Just as both Samuel and Daniel were lost in their imaginary battles thinking they were hidden from everyone's eyes, they hear a familiar voice with a tinge of anger and amusement present within.

  “What the hell are you two little devils doing here?”

  Hearing the voice both boys flinch at the same time.

  Samuel and Daniel look at each other, they know their little adventure will sadly have to end here for today.

  Luckily it's Willy otherwise they wouldn't hear enough of it from Dada.

  “You both are going back to village with me now, understood”

  Both kids nod obediently.

  “Uh great now I have to drop you all the way back home and here I came looking for some Moonise stalks for your friend Regens fever.

  Hearing this both kids perk up.

  “Uh willy we were also looking for Moonise stalks.”

  “Haha you two looking moonise stalk, do you even know what it looks like Daniel”

  Daniel looks at his younger brother who hesitantly shakes his head.

  “You could teach us.”

  Shouts Sammy suddenly. The idea of going into the forest and looking for medicine attracts him greatly hence his sudden enthusiasm.

  “Hmm it could be a good experience for both of you.

  And anyways it's good to know your medicines. Ok i've made up my mind you both are coming with me.

  “‘Yay”’

  “Don't get too excited, you have to listen to all my commands, do you both understand?”

  “Understood, Mr.Montnyl”

  Willy facepalms.

  “You kids only show respect when you want to, don't you. Well whatever just keep quiet there”

  Daniel and Samuel both nod while smiling cheerfully. While Willy just shakes his head already imagining a headache coming.
