Chapter 33: Universal Love is Not Attacking

  Section 1

  Universal love: refers to complete universal love, extending paternal love, maternal love, romantic love and friendly love to other strangers.

  Tian Zhi: Refers to mastering natural laws and scientific knowledge.

  Ming Gui: Respect for the wisdom and experience of one's predecessors. Upright, bright and just, without resorting to evil or wickedness.

  Non-destiny: Refers to mastering one's own destiny through hard work and struggle, rather than believing in ghosts and gods or blaming heaven and others.

  Non-music: refers to getting rid of the constraints of ritual music and etiquette, abolishing cumbersome formalities, and not engaging in useless indulgences.

  Frugality: Practise economy and oppose extravagance. Work hard and get rich through one's own efforts...

  After finishing their eulogy, all the Mohists bowed to Li Wei, also known as their Mohist master. Li Wei didn't know what to do and hastily said:
